![]() Gamma-ray burst Location: Nashville Posts: 6,376 | President lauds 3 What is going on with this guy (Bush) Tenet!?!?! This is the same guy who was asleep at the switch on 9/11, and Bush honors him, with a medal. Not just any medal but the highest civilian honor! This is outrageous. -Meanwhile we have troops dying in Iraq who are away from home at Christmas. Insanity Link |

| Skeptical Patriot Posts: 7,789 | The problem is that Bush fans don't see anything wrong with ther administration BLAMING the Iraq fiasco on George "Slam Dunk" Tenet, allowing him to resign (at least publicly) andf then giving the bastard a medal! If Tenet's role in this was worth a medal, then the TOTAL blame goes right back to where it started, George Bush. There is no one else to blame. |

I believe that Bush expected to have an easy win in Iraq, and that the hype about WMD's would quickly be forgotten amidst all the celebrating of Iraq's "liberation". When neither proved to be correct somebody had to take the fall. Tenet "took one for the team", and this medal is simply his reward for keeping his mouth shut. |
