Gian: You have the right to say what you want, but for the sake of debate and discussion certain things need to be said (e.g. evidence needs to be presented). |

With that attitude every thread you participate in will become a "yes" - "nope" - "uhuh!" - "NO!!" - thing. You DO have the right to your opinion yada yada blah blah, but if you can't even come up with ONE reason for why you built that opinion, then nobody will listen to you. That's why you're here, right? To have a say on matters? |

I will tell you one thing though, it has a link to guerilla records with a rapper named Paris...he's bad as hell. But on the whole I think sites like this are good, I don't see them as any more or less biased than CNN - which isn't saying much because I think they are very biased. In any case I think it is the readers responsibility to assume that everything is written by someone and for someone and no information is objective. That being said I don't like the fact that GNN and CNN both do not provide easy access to sourcing materials. One of my fav. sites is indymedia.org. And every time I have asked for factual data sourcing (no personal interviews) to be sent they have sent me more than I needed. IndyMedia Capitalism is: Man exploiting man. Socialism is the other way around. |

| Igneous Magma Location: New York Posts: 374 | I like indymedia but the site organization is so completely out of whack. It's just a random splattering of articles some of, which are written well, others...not so well. For real high quality reporting on the web I’d have to go with salon, commondreams(It’s main feature is opinion but it has a great database of progressive news and interesting mainstream media stories) and once in awhile AlterNet has got some interesting investigative reports otherwise it’s mostly opinion.
