The Democratic party, does it have a future?

With such moumental losses all accross the board, I really do think that it's time to dump the Democratic party and introduce a third party. The inability of the Democrats to defeat perhaps one of the worst presidents ever is just astronomical. Democratic minority leader looses his seat to a wingnut...that's insane.

It's deffinatly time for a new party.

and, i completely agree with you... i think it's about time the republicans also break away and form (or join) a third party..

there's that blue coalition or something... moderates from both major parties... they should strengthen that one and find some more common ground imo.

That's how the Libertarian Party was started. How many times must the Republicans spin off other parties until people understand the party doesn't represent the same people it did 30 years ago.

i think that next election will be my opportunity to vote LP for federal elections. couldn't do it this time, but....

if only these republican spinoffs could all just get together and form one broad third party..
