Heh, Voinovich from Ohio, just said he Is PROUD of the fairness there. What a effen liar he is...

More reps from the Republicans saying there is NO evidence of fraud. Nothing but Liars.
They have a lotta nerve these criminals, I noticed that too. The Repugnants are lining up to lie to America.

Jesse Jackson pushing for the Constitutional Right to vote. I agree with him. A major problem was pointed out by Marcy Kaptur a few minutes ago about how HAVA was a failure because they didnt have time to establish a standard. An ABSOLUTE FAILURE, of Resident Bush's program. It worked out perfectly for his purposes.

Official:
A 2 hour debate is allowed re: objection to Ohio election results

Dems:
102 page Report of election fraud and voter disenfranchisement. The system is flawed.

Republicans:
Frivolous * no evidence * move on * drink your kool-aid * nothing to see here, just move on, pardon the expression *smirk*

Edit to add:
End of Debate

Tom Delay's speech. What a liar, spinner, cheat and fraudster. You gotta hear it to believe it. But it's over. Ohio certified.

Interesting, as I am watching the early returns on c-span there is one vote "yea" by a Republican, probably Ron Paul...No now it is changed to zero. Now back to one "yea" again. Now zero again.

Yup, he actually said there was "No Evidence" and "Conspiracy Theory"
I didnt see any debate on the facts presented. I hereby declare Tom Delay moot, frivolous, and a party to the very real conspiracy to overthrow our white house. It must be the DDT fumes.

The callers from the right keep saying that there is "no evidence" and "move forward" but I get the impression when the evidence is presented that they are saying "Lalalala! I can't hear you!"

The more I think about this, the less I think anything good will come of it. Where are the demands for answers? Why did they take a vote and resolve this with no real debate and a hearing ordered that would result in the arrest for FELONY accusations. WTF?

Who is the culprit? Is it OK for everyone to commit felonies now? I guess so. If its OK to steal votes its ok to steal money, right?

The President is now officially the President. To paraphrase from the campaign - don't you think its time to just - 'MoveOn.org"

Geeze, you guys are the kings of conspiracy theories.

But the Washington state theft draws barely a whisper, could it be that that election, which was extremely close, and employed dubious validity testing turned out the way you wanted - so - let that one lay, while we distract attention elsewhere.

You claim 'Fairness', but you don't lend your voices toward it.

I say revote in every state that had any fraud. I am fine with that. But do something about it so it doesnt happen again. If Kathryn Harris were thrown in prison instead of being promoted in 2000, we wouldnt have the scope of problems we do today. Throw the felons guilty of election fraud in prison. Today. If we overlook it again this year it will happen again in 2008

Why are the Repugnants going to court in Washington? Maybe they should just get over it. Take their own advice, Move on.

Thats exactly the point. The Republicans should have also won the great state of Washington, except certain votes were disallowed by Democratically controlled urban centers. I don't see why the Republicans and the rest of the nation isn't screaming 'FOUL'.

Ohio is a losing cause for you, add all the suspected dirty deeds and Bush still carries my State. Sorry, MOVEON.ORG ( I like the the name now - it comes back to haunt you doesn't it)

IF, Kerry would have one, I would support OUR president. ( Just bugging you)

Jeez, you guys ought to have a simple, transparent, EZ-tabulation voting system incorporating safeguards that make the question of "Foul!" entirely moot.

It ain't like this is some sort of impossible dream or anything -- lots of countries have such systems.

I just don't understand why you put up without a democracy.

I don't think that one should support someone just because they are our president. That is just like thinking that one must support the monarch because he is king. There is nothing special about the president. If he screws up or breaks the law then he must account for it and the public should not stand for it. If we do not expect this of our presidents then we will end up with monarchs.

To be somewhat honest about it, I didn't see that much difference in Kerry. Take away campaign promises (some you think may be, some just for votes) and there wasn't enough difference to make a change.

Obviously, so did a majority of other voters. Read - those who actually voted.

Why does the political shenanigans in Washington State fail to draw any publicity. Must be the wrong party.

Its over, time to move on:
Quote:
The U.S. Congress on Thursday formally certified President Bush as the victor of the November elections after two Democrats symbolically stalled the event in protest at alleged voting irregularities in Ohio. California Sen. Barbara Boxer and Ohio Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, formally lodged objections because of Ohio, although they said they recognized Bush had won and were not trying to overturn the results.

The rare objection to vote certification, the first filed in decades, forced the House and Senate to halt their joint session, usually a routine and ceremonial affair. Each chamber then debated the objection, and rejected it, the Senate by a 74-1 vote, the House 267-31. The state-by-state certification was completed a few hours later.

About 200 protesters near the White House, including the Rev. Jesse Jackson, beat drums and urged Congress not to certify the results because they said unreliable voting machines and partisan election officials had tilted the closely fought swing state of Ohio to Bush.

The 2004 election is OVER! Kerry lost and Bush won because he got more votes. Or didn't you watch the certification of the vote?? I've never heard so many people say that Bush won, especially from the majority of Democrats!

rvodidit, don't you know the critical left has proof Bush is president only through a vast conspiracy hatched by Hitler himself? Don't you realize one of the premises is that, as when he defeated Gore, the only way Bush could get to be president is via fraud perpetrated by co-conspirators enlisted through skullduggery when he was a law student? Heaven forbid you be one of those ineptly termed "Red-staters" who think Bush's election reflects the will and aspirations of the largest collective in the US, the 51% or so there who went out and voted for him.

Or perhaps the 48% + 3% fraud!

Dont forget the thousands who voted for Kerry and had their vote electronically changed to Bush.
Dont forget the thousands who registered as Democrats, only to have their registrations thrown in the trash, while the Repugnant registrations were sent to elections board.
rmn, you are in denial. You lie to yourself. We dont need crazy conspiracy theories and lies. There are plenty of documented facts, proof of fraud. Enough to overturn the election, if the Dems and Reps had not decided well in advance who would be selected.
