1) The losing side has a billion reasons for losing, none of it related to the candidates (for example, Bush rigged the elections, the evil Nazi leaders put mind drugs into our food, etc)

2) Bush and Kerry say different things, but I've never seen the Democrats and Republicans do anything differently. Both Clinton and Bush were warmongers, but simply used different words to justify their wars.

3) The left claims they are intellectually superior to the right, while the right claims they are morally superior to the left (both "superiority complexes" piss me off)

4) When I get my hands on a nuclear bomb there won't be any more elections.

Ideological loyalty is the act of giving your soul to a vague concept, to be manipulated by people smarter than you.
