    Dupes & Progressives for Obama........

I'm smack in the middle of reading Dr. Paul Kengor's book 'DUPES': How America's Adversaries Have Manipulated Progressives for a Century.

This book is a must read for we traditional Conservative/Constitutional Americans who like to be informed of our enemies, and especially a must read for you liberal progressives who have either been duped or have been willing idiots to have aligned your political roots with that of Communism.

Kengor takes us back to post WWI when Communism got its foothold in Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution. He gives us a litany of many well-known liberal/socialist/Marxist/Progressive Americans (many visiting Russia at that time) who were duped into believing that the leadership and economy, i.e. soft communism for the Proletariat under Lenin/Stalin was to be the blueprint for a worldwide standard--especially for us here in America.

I'll leave you with one interview with Dr. Paul Kengor as he beautifully ties in some of today's progressives with Obama.

I hope that you liberals and progressives find solace in and an appreciation for having a political background deeped entirely in Marxism and Communism.

Big Dupes at Big Peace: Progressives for Obama and November 2008 vs. November 2010

ps: Please read the comments after reading the interview. These people are finally getting to voice their distrust of these progressives and of this president we call obama. You progressives might also be pleased to note that Stalin himself said that those joining the ranks of the Communist faithful must be atheists.

ya know...yer partially correct when you say that Americans were involved in the Russian Revolution...

As I understand it...the Rockefellers and a host of other contributors financed Lenin's revolution (round 2) for business concerns (primarily oil).

    Unregulated Capitalism...gotta love it...

No, not Americans in general, but Americans of the liberal/progressive mindset; many whom later became members of the CPUSA (Communist Party United States America).

Nice attempt to skew the original message, but you and your ilk cannot run from your commie roots that easily. Like I said before, you should be proud of your roots.

How many times do I have to tell you numb-***z...Up here I AM CONSERVATIVE! Its just that some or most of you Conservatives down there have gone off the deep end!

Lord do you really think this finance came because of a 'soft-spot' for Marxist politics?
If so...I think you've got a soft-spot of your own...

    ...our enemies...
This is how you characterize those who disagree with your political opinions? Do you anticipate another civil war? Do you desire an America with only one party?

Excuse me but wan't it the commies that I fought against in Vietnam, and that Ronald Reagan rightfully coined the 'EVIL EMPIRE' and thus eliminated from our daily cold war lexicon? So it was never just an opinion of who our enemies are or have been; its been a fact. I have no problem with the two-party system, but I do have a problem with the American progressive/communist party for not only of being a viable force in American politics, but that so many of our current day progressive dupes have adopted the Communist Manifesto as their guiding light with most if not all of them being atheists and enemies of our Constitution and our Capitalistic society. The book 'DUPES' goes into detail on how your particular ideology got its roots, and more specifically how so many liberal progressive Americans joined in to ride the dupe train toward having an anti American agenda of communism.

That all depends on who you ask, obviously.
Victor Gibbons argued in Workers Vanguard that
"the destruction of the USSR has inflamed the rivalries between
the imperialist states of North America, West Europe and Japan
whose conflicts of interest are no longer restrained by their
capitalist rulers' shared commitment to the former anti-Soviet
alliance. These rivalries spur the rulers' efforts to achieve greater
economic competitiveness in the world market by intensifying the rate
of exploitation of labor in their own countries. Thus the bourgeoisie
has been trashing what is left of the 'welfare state' in West Europe
and the far more meager social programs in the United States.
The Trotskyist movement had long predicted that a counterrevolution in
Soviet Russia would enormously strengthen the forces of capitalist
    reaction on a global scale."
Why the fall of USSR was a tragedy for all mankind - humanities.philosophy.objectivism | Google Groups

I'm far from a van of the Soviet Union, but the above argument is accurate. The collapse of the USSR left little deterrent for American invasions, and now that we've waged numerous invasions and occupations, no one thinks the occupiers could just leave without a fight. We just hear another buzzword; it used to be "communist" but now it's "terrorist."

Oh, I didn't realize it was a work of fiction.

Ronald Reagan single-handedly brought down the Soviet Union. Totally.

The Soviet Union collapsed on its own.

Ronald Reagan was no saint and, as you noted, he did not cause the Soviet Union to fall. Glasnost did that, far more than anything else -- plus, the economic failure largely resulting from their military-skewed priorities and far too rigidly controlled economy.

And neocons like Libhater would love to think otherwise. Saying that Reagan caused the Soviet Union to collapse is kind of like saying Bush caused Saddam's Army to collapse.
