    Why the Republicans Won

Letter to a whiny young Democrat

I know you guys want to think that most of America has "rejected" Obama and hates his policies. But, this is why we lost the House. I would only add the impatient "Independants" to the whiney young Democrats.

All I see when I look down, something jumpin' on the ground, Scratchin' dirt, cluckin' in the barnyard -
Tell me, could that be you?

The White House called progressives "fucking retarded" and said that we should be "drug tested". That's why the Dems lost.

So Americans weren't opposed to Obama and the far left policies? So most of the polls which showed people vocally expressed disappointment with proposed increases in taxes and government programs were lying to Americans? I beg to differ!!! Impatience has a little to do with it but the approach of the Obama administration was seen in its full light. The people know that government monopoly and take over of the Health Care, excessive Pork spending, and tax hikes are the root of the cause of our troubles. Republicans claim to be against them and that is the reason the people are willing to give them another shot.

Yeah, they claim to be against them. We're only going to see a steeper increase in taxes. The GOP is not the answer to our tax problem.

The midterms are an undeniable mandate to put a leash on Obama and the Pelosians. Eighty percent said worries about the economy motivated their vote. Everyone wants the government to take effective steps to improve the business environment, not many believe expanded and costly heathcare or global warming regulations will help promote employment.

I agree, spending and taxes are terrible, and that's why the McConnels and Boehners are going to have one out of every three tax dollars go directly to the Pentagon. That's why they're going to keep us hard-working middle class citizens paying more taxes than the people who could buy and sell our lives hundreds of times over.

    God bless the Republican Party.

You're right! Along with a socialist approach to governance, the Dems have also tried to ram in wasteful pork spending on things like global warming and his tourist trips to mosques.

This is absolutely fucking stupid. Rarely does the party in the white house win the midterm elections. There's ALWAYS a 'referendum' against the president. The fact that the Democrats kept control of the Senate is proof that America is STILL leery of the Republicans.

A man said to the universe:
    "Sir, I exist!"
    "However," replied the universe,
"The fact has not created in me
    A sense of obligation."

Right, Clinton lost both houses and he was more moderate, southern, white, and was dealing with much less serious economic issues. Seen in that light, the fact that the Republicans couldn't take the Senate looks like a pitiful showing.

Yes because starting on improving our relations with moderate Muslims and attempting to do something for the climate is the biggest waste present in the U.S. government,... riiiiight.

Keep telling yourself that. The Democratic administration you've seen isn't socialist by any means. They're not even liberal by worldly standards.

Oh, had read it was the greatest midterm landslide since Roosevelt, but now I see it was just a reaffirmation of the overwhelming majority's support for sociaized medicine and a carbon tax.

Silly Obama, he thinks his party got a "shellacking"!
