Lindh was also an American citizen...and as such he was entitled uniquely enough of the protections of all Americans under the law.

personaly i say fuck it frag the geneva conventions lets end this shit with one simeple move supply ALL troops with pigs blood
let the muslim radicals know it
have all troops dip all bullets in the pigs blood then see how long there willing to fight then
if there true belevers they wont because they wont risk there souls

If I recall correctly, you only go to hang with Allah and his homeboys when you die while taking out an infidel. If you get run over by a Humvee you are just dead. You probably go to heaven but you're out of luck where the virgins are concerned.
But I could be wrong.

Besides, they have to KNOW, or just believe the bullets are dipped in pig plasma for this to work. We could SAY all the bullets are treated but they have to hear it, and then we have to hope some Mullah doesn't say we're just kidding.

No double standard..he was an American citizen..you can't get around his rights...the others were foreign nationals and as such are not entitled to the rights and priviledges of an American...now see how simple that is?

so basically if you want to attack the US, take out citizenship first and you'll enjoy a degree of protection.

that reasoning is idiotic. a person should be judged by his actions, not who he is or where he was born.

it is this sort of thinking that allows conservatives to sleep at night so easily while supporting bombing campaigns on foreign countries. they ain't americans, who cares...

Well...I am an American...so no...I don't care...when it comes right down to it....and no the reasoning is not idiotic..it has served this Republic for 200+ years...yet you would throw it all out for some logic I can't even fanthom....You expect us to extend the rights of citizens to non-citizens...well..hell..let's not have countries anymore because sovereignity doesn't play into how you view life.

Well...the 241 Marines who were sleeping peaceably when a truck driven by a muslim terrorist hit their barracks in 83 aren't sleeping peacefully now...the sailors that were murdered on the USS Cole aren't sleeping soundly....the US military personnel in the Khobar towers aren't sleeping peacefully, and the 3000 slaughtered in the 9/11/01 attacks aren't sleeping peacefully.

What helps me sleep at nite is when I hear of another one of those sick individuals who wants to die for his God go onto meet his maker..preferably at the end of a bullet fired by a men like my sons who are Marines just like I was...or a man just like them.
