| Logic Via Reality Posts: 653 | Kerry just made a statement on national television that he "married up". What in the name of all that makes sense did he do that for? Then he says " I want your trust". HUH????? He married up? What the hell does that mean? His family lineage is beneath that of his wife or does he in fact place himself beneath his wife? George Bush kicks ass and takes names in 2005!! |

| Skeptical Patriot Posts: 7,836 | It was obvious, to me at least, that he meant he marrid into BIG bucks. Self deprecating humor. It followed his saying he takes himself too seriously and his family won't let him get away with it. There must have been a "poke fun at yourself" sign on in the hall for 2 min. Not a day goes by that I don't see something that reinforces my belief that people are idiots. |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,936 | I think he was just trying to sound folkish, like saying "getting hitched" instead of saying getting married. and he added "more then once" because he was re-married. Bush scored big with the women and no doubt won a lot of votes with his sincer story about how he met his wife, love at first site, and how lucky he was have her as his wife - Bush demonstrated that he honestly does value his family where as Kerry seemed withdrawn in expressing how much he loves his present wife and family. Kerry did not play those cards right. In the first debate Kerry came across as the better family man but this time Bush did. But why would the reporter pick that question which was "how do you guys like being around strong women"? What has that got to do with being able to run the country or anything political? Fine "human interest story" perhaps, but not a good question for a political debate. Technosoul. |

John McCain has no hesitation crossing party lines if his conscious decision of what is right for the country is involved. He would and will get my vote if he ever decides to run again. He seems an easy person to trust, and I would trust his judgment. Live Long and Prosper (Genetics and Capitalism)

HELLO?!?!? |

Any fanaticism in the extreme is a dangerous thing. The extremism of the radicals leave Bush's leanings tame by comparison. Live Long and Prosper (Genetics and Capitalism)
