The population is hopelessly dependent on the government, it is to the point that no other type of government could ever hope to function in that society. If they become an iminent threat to us, the only option on the table that will work will be to kill them all. Clean toe caps and a filthy mouth! Low morals and high morale! |

In NK, the entire population is totally brainwashed. Im talking totally PROGRAMMED. Nobody in that country has or is capable of developing in their mind the concepts of freedom. They are programmed to the point that they cant even comprehend a theoretical concept of the government being wrong, or of expression. Nobody thinks for themselves. Self determination has been completely purged from them. The very concept of self determination, has been completely eradicated. Occupants of our most brutal prisons have more self determination than NK's "citizens", if you would even call them that. Hell, my dog has more self determination. And actually, if that ever did happen here, yes, the best for the world would be to kill us all, which doesnt bother me, because purging self determination from the US would have to include either my death or deportation, so I wont be around. | Skeptical Patriot Posts: 7,746 | I fail to see the logic behind believing North Korea will (or even CAN) attack anyone, much less the U.S. or one of our allies. If Kim Jong Mental Ill attacks Japan or anywhere else, I think the better part of the world will join together and roll right over the country, especially if NK acts first, as that should be enough to keep China out of the picture. And if NK actually NUKES another country, it's all over for them. As placid as the rest of the civilized world appears, I think this would be their wake up call and move them to united action. My personal take is that this is the usual ploy Korea trots out every few years to shore up its broken economy and keep the current regime in power. "Hey guys, lookee me. I have nukes and I'm gonna use them. (wait an appropriate amount of time) Hey guys, if you send me a boatload of moola I'll stop all this and let you watch me dismantle a couple of nuke plants." We pay the little bum off as usual and Kim averts another revolution of his starving population by tossing the people a bone paid for by the U.S. and other nations. It's not like it hasn't happened before. Not a day goes by that I don't see something that reinforces my belief that people are idiots. |

| Igneous Magma Posts: 313 | The only issue with that is that NK is within striking distance of Japan, and taking out the worlds 2nd largest economy(or so I think), well not taking them out but hurting them severly would really damage the rest of the worlds economy. I don't think NK will attack anybody either, but if they feel too threatened then I believe he would. |

| Untrained Fodder Location: Alabama Posts: 1,354 | Total Thermo-nuclear extermination doesnt qualify as taking them out? WTF? Do they have to follow up with nerve gas to kill all the cock roaches? And they are not feeling threatened, they are holding everybody within missle range hostage for ransom because their facist negative eutopia does not allow for an economy that can support itself. If that does not fit the difinition of a terrorist better than somebody who just happens to believe the Patriot act goes against everything we are supposed to be protecting, we need to redefine "terrorist" Clean toe caps and a filthy mouth! | Citizen #21521 Posts: 2,599 | Somehow I'm not sure the DPRK (thats North Korea) even has the ability to nuke anyone, much less cause World War 3. The entire world, even China, has gone against the DPRK's nuclear program, so unless the DPRK decides suicide is the way to go, I doubt they will do anything. A lot of it is simple stirring by the media...a bit like the American media causing the American-Spanish war over Cuba. Take it lightly. Ideological loyalty is the act of giving your soul to a vague concept, to be manipulated by people smarter than you. |
