funny... global terrorism has INCREASED thanks to bush's policies. the proper way to put out a fire is not to pour gasoline on it, as bush has done. | |

| Guest Posts: n/a | bush has filled many people with rage. rage i am sure some of them use violence to respond to. Hastert is a coward for saying such a thing. I am sure Kerry is just as able to tell our armed forces and CIA to do their jobs. Bush also has many failures as a leader, indicating inability to attack the right country if invaded, to adequately and appropriately respond to non-state entities with a state-run military, to obey international law, to effectively run a war against iraq or god forbid any real threatening nation that might invade us. most vitally bush shows inability to make proper use of intelligence, such as to get off of a month long vacation, take the CIA's August 6, 2001 ADVICE PAMPHLET and stop bin laden from striking targets in the US on the week of september 9, likely departing from boston [logan], likely using planes as weapons to attack major prominent symbols of american and israeli economic power. so don't vote for bush again. |

| moderat-e/o-r Location: boston Posts: 11,184 | the results of this survey must be hard to swallow.. it has to make the bushistas feel good to know that the whole damn world hates us. while they're all out there talking about how al qaeda supposedly wants kerry to win (a claim which is completely unsubstantiated bullshit btw), it certainly seems like people all across the world want kerry to win. it warms the cockles of my heart knowing that politicians are winning elections based on anti-american campaign platforms. a direct result of bush's policies and arrogance. http://www.pipa.org/OnlineReports/Pres_Ele...ort09_08_04.pdf |

| Sedimentary Rock Posts: 10 | But...he could say he has tried ever fuel in the house to put out the fire but nothing worked ! Also why do they say that Kerry will make it easier for terrorists ? Does he plan an amnesty, funding or charity programs for them ? Does he plan to make al-Qaeda an official NGO ? If that is the case then I agree with Hastert's opinion. |

| moderat-e/o-r Location: boston Posts: 11,184 | beats me... it would be interesting for them to properly explain the "how?". the bush supporters might as well cut the b.s. and just start calling kerry mr. poopypants. that's about as substantive as this fear mongering garbage. heh, kerry would help al qaeda because he thinks that iraq wasn't a war we should've started. funny - i don't think they realize that there was no real al qaeda presence in iraq before we invaded. we probably have more sleeper cells in our own country than there ever were in iraq. |

| Molten Ash Location: university of iowa, iowa Posts: 26 | terrorism globally has risen since bush has been president. the longer we stay in iraq, the more terrorism will continue to rise. bush seems to be ignoring this (well not really, he's planning on sending more troops into iraq, hes just waiting till after the election to tell us). the more we force our ideals on countries simply because we want to exploit their economic value just breeds more hate in iraqi citizens, prompting them to become militiamen (i wont use terrorist) for their cause. we keep killing people in iraq, but their numbers keep growing. interesting. in response to "why would terrorists like kerry," it's because kerry would decrease our invasiveness on their lifestyles, giving them the opportunity to live freely. Cheney and his twatties seem to think that since citizens of iraq and afghanistan are inherently evil, they will use this opportunity to increase terrorism. but why would they be pissed at us for leaving them alone? thats right, it doesnt make much sense to me either. |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | Boo. Here is something skerry for you all, what if the Technocrats became a poweful party. Ha. I think we should have the Homeland Security Department stap a lie detector on everyone involved in Washington politics and let reporters (not ones pre-selected) ask them questions for a few months on national TV. Anyone not wishing to take part in this "search for truth" must resign before their name is called and can never hold office again. That would do it, once and for all (or a least until the next bunch moves in to take their places). Technosoul. |
