Obama

My youngest sent me a wonderful link (which I can't locate - only narrated segments). I now stand behind Jon Stewart as a real American

YouTube - Jon Stewart vs. Jim Cramer.(Full Episode of The Daily Show).

Thanks for the link, I hadn't seen it. Cramer seems a bit subdued these days, but I was glad to hear SOMEBODY be optomistic (other than the president) these days.

It would appear that public opinion over here is going from “hating America” towards “liking America,” this would be largely down to Obama.

I'm happy with the results so far. The trip went well, and the First Lady was a plus.

The NBC financial big-mouth, what's his name -- Kramer? said today we were out of the depression and in a normal recession. I think that's a little optomistic, but it was the first hopeful thing I've heard lately.

Hi Syl!

I'll tell you, seeing Barack and Michelle Obama's performance at the G20 actually fills me with pride. It's a feeling I haven't had with our leadership for too long.

You realize what theyre talking about in there right? Makes you proud? Americans who are proud of quality photo-ops in the face of economic disasters being fueled by the entire G20 room of thieves makes me ashamed. Has no one informed you about what G20 is?

I guess you should educate me. I thought it was a meeting of the leaders of the 20 largest nation economies.

K. Evo, what do you call a nation that just agreed to underwrite $8.7 Trillion in corporate gambling losses on Wall Street, using taxpayer's future payments, Free Enterprise?

Obama seems to have done well on his G20 trip with the G20 agreeing to pump a trillion into things that need it, and the re-establishing relations with Russia and maybe even finding a crack in the wall with Iran.A little bit of diplomacy seems to be a welcome relief on both sides of the Atlantic. Maybe a trip to Palestine is in order next.
Did you hear what they said about forming a new world order? Wasn't Hittler like the last one to try that?

Whatssnew, if the New World Order included people being responsible, fiscally and personally, and using dubloons backed with something of consequence, I'd be for it.

If you can't tell the difference between Hitler and Obama, you have a problem, IMO.

Ok, well here is one difference, if Hitler and Obama met:

Obama would want to have talks with him (like he does with other mass murderer dictators) and/or draft a hundred UN resolutions with little or no effect.

Hittler would give him a signed agreement, takeover Europe, and then invade America, (as he had planned.)

Far Fetched reasoning...?

The global political situation today isn't remotely comparable to what it was 70 ago, so everything you say is pointless speculation - and wrong.

I take it you haven’t heard the phrase: "History repeats itself"

So do you think that Hitler would give up world conquest to be Obama’s lap dog? If not you must agree Hitler would not change his plans.

Do you really think that Obama would grow a sack and stand up for what is right instead of bow down before other nations as he has done? If not you must agree that Obama would continue with the same behavior, and what I said are things he pushes.

I gave you a difference of character, essentially pointing out that Obama is a wuss, and everyone (leaders of nations) knows it, and that he would lead us into the lions den if the lion spoke softly.

It won't. Tengers, let me ask: if a pirate robbed you and told you the only way to get him to stop robbing people is if we all agree to give him a bigger and faster boat would you think he really plans to give up piracy? Similarly, we're giving the most corrupt and callous bankers of the world their wet dream.

Yes tengers...

Michelle Obama is also proving to be a strong asset to the President.
She has fine arms, an imposing build, wears sleeveless dresses to show them off, and is descended from slaves! Sometimes she commits a no no like patting the Queen of England on the shoulder but that is forgiven by the sympathetic press. She hasn't done or said anything but is a great fixture for our nation. Wisely and silently accompanying her hubby on his ministerial rounds? Evidently no one is holding their breath waiting for her to erupt in anymore condemnation of her own country.

Surely you are jesting about her? She is a non entity to any but the press.

And are you really serious here?...

If so you better add that government pressures and creations of pseudo official organizations like Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae so disjointed the free enterprise system by pressuring and bribing business to make bad(un collectible) loans so that every citizen could own his/her own home? The Govt virtually insured them and unleashed a hord of profiteers.

Even our Congress fueled by donations from the financial industry was in the game. Sen Dodd and Rep Frank assured the nation publicly several years back that all was well...When It WASN'T and thus fatally delayed corrective action? All the while both(and others) took donations and favors from the opportunistic gamblers on Wall
street.

Thus we play the fools with the time, and the spirits of the wise sit in the clouds and mock us.

Okay, Obama's been embarassed by the Russians, he's agreed to bend over for the Iranians, he's going to go apologize to Hamas, he's blamed the United States for everything.

Where'd you find anything good in what the boy did overseas again?

.

Looks like we've finally gotten back a President capable of leading the free world rather than alienating it.

.
Did Obama, Biden, and Pelosi die in a train wreck or something that hasn't been covered by the news yet?

Or didn't you notice the major slap Russia gave Obama just a few weeks ago? The callow inexperienced Senator from the South Side of Chicago can't lead a kindergarten class in the pledge of allegiance. Open your eyes.
