| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | I wanted to do this poll to see if you all think that webpages have become important sources for voters to use in determining whom they might vote for, assuming they are still somewhat on the fense (not voting by party only). Wondering if most people still depend on news coverage, TV ads, and talk show hosts as their main source to find out what Kerry has to offer should he be elected President. Another interesting angle you might debate would be this other question. Do more Republican read his webpage to look for things to attack, or do more Democrats and or 3rd party people read it to find something inspirational to rally behind? Technosoul. |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | Hmmm? so far 5 people read the poll but no one voted, what a bad turn out! Perhaps I should have titled my poll "what would Kerry do"? Like that Jesus poll did. Hey, peoples, rock the vote. Get out an vote on this poll, or did you vote already but had a hanging chad? Hmmmm, I better call in the conspiracy experts. Technosoul. |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | Now 12 people have read this poll and no one has voted. What would happen if during the next preidental election both canadtes got "o" votes? We would have to leave the janitors in charge of the White House (are they documented?) It matters not because if no one votes then nobody is in charge. This is fun. Technosoul. |

To answer the orignal question, yes I've looked at the Kerry website many times and it's full of vague statements. Although, I understand NO candidate would tell you exactly what the "plan" is. We wouldn't understand all of it anyway. So, I do research on vague statements to decipher what "punish outsourcers" means. As your original post says, it's inspirational, sounds good. It's a placebo. That's it. Death to Videodrome! Long live The New flesh!

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | Sounds great, so because the cost of living has gone up I think I will pass on the extra cost to my boss, I am going to tell him he must pay me more for my services tomorrow, fair is fair, what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Technosoul. |

I am self employed off and pay my self under the table and so I am my own boss, what a pickle to be in, I can only protest me. Technosoul. |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | Okay the poll is closed and I have tabulated all the votes and the majority have ruled that no one has read the Kerry webpage. So people do not care what his policy is and perhaps do not even know what it is, at least not details of it. But at least I proved that one vote really does count because I was the only one who voted. Technosoul. |

Do you believe most voters have reviewed the Kerry webpage?[/quote]When you asked if MOST voters reviewed his webpage, that means 50% plus 1 registered voter. None of the answers provide for the scenario, of "nobody" viewing the website. Anyway, I voted "Not Sure". Thats actually the only honest vote anyone can make. I have no way of knowing, how many voters actually get on the web, let alone go to one particular website.

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | Oh oh, I checked again and see that a number of votes were made, that is great. It seems the no votes got about 66 percent and the yes votes got something in the area of 25 percent. Not sure votes about 11 percent. (the vote was for opinions) Basically the poll does not prove anything at all but was just testing the waters to see if canadate webpages are popular. Technosoul. |
