I wanted to do this poll to see if you all think that webpages have become important sources for voters to use in determining whom they might vote for, assuming they are still somewhat on the fense (not voting by party only).

Wondering if most people still depend on news coverage, TV ads, and talk show hosts as their main source to find out what Kerry has to offer should he be elected President. Another interesting angle you might debate would be this other question. Do more Republican read his webpage to look for things to attack, or do more Democrats and or 3rd party people read it to find something inspirational to rally behind?

Hmmm? so far 5 people read the poll but no one voted, what a bad turn out!

Perhaps I should have titled my poll "what would Kerry do"? Like that Jesus poll did.

Hey, peoples, rock the vote. Get out an vote on this poll, or did you vote already but had a hanging chad? Hmmmm, I better call in the conspiracy experts.

I read the web pages of those that I'm interested in, and participate by email, etc. Don't watch much TV or listen to the radio anymore. Some magazines. Mostly an internet junkie.

Now 12 people have read this poll and no one has voted.

What would happen if during the next preidental election both canadtes got "o" votes? We would have to leave the janitors in charge of the White House (are they documented?) It matters not because if no one votes then nobody is in charge.

This is fun.

It isn't just Reps. Many groups can't get behind Kerry's economic policy either. Libertarians believe IMO, is once you acheive economic freedom, the social ones will follow. But, following socially liberal first will not lead to economic freedom. That's kinda why I generally attack Kerry more.

Economic freedom for the rich can often rob the working class and the consumer, so do not human rights and fair play overrule the rights of the rich to have the economic freedom to get away with murder (well, not murder, but you know what I mean).

If only the rich have the economic freedom. We're talking about all, not only a single group. You will not get "fair play" within economic policy by tax credits and price controls. It's robbing Peter to pay Paul. Peter will raise prices, sorry Paul. You'll have to wait until next year to get a stipend back. Meanwhile, we'll rape you all year long.

To answer the orignal question, yes I've looked at the Kerry website many times and it's full of vague statements. Although, I understand NO candidate would tell you exactly what the "plan" is. We wouldn't understand all of it anyway. So, I do research on vague statements to decipher what "punish outsourcers" means. As your original post says, it's inspirational, sounds good. It's a placebo. That's it.

Sounds great, so because the cost of living has gone up I think I will pass on the extra cost to my boss, I am going to tell him he must pay me more for my services tomorrow, fair is fair, what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

(just joking).

I am self employed off and pay my self under the table and so I am my own boss, what a pickle to be in, I can only protest me.

Who gives a rip about Kerry?

When will a better candidate step out of the shadows. Is there a debate scheduled, and will the media treat a challenger like a Special Olympics contender? Lets be honest about it, the 3rd and 4th party candidates are what we deserve, but not what corporate controlled media will give us. It will take one hell of a promoter to bring them not only into contention, but to win. It is getting late in the race and the other parties are still in the gates. We have to choose up sides now, then maybe later something horrible could happen to a front runner (Like Pneumonia or something) then another guy has a shot. I am not a fan of either Bush nor Kerry. Kerry is the lesser of two evils, thats the nicest thing I can say about him.

Edit to add: I would pick this guy over Bush

Okay the poll is closed and I have tabulated all the votes and the majority have ruled that no one has read the Kerry webpage. So people do not care what his policy is and perhaps do not even know what it is, at least not details of it.

But at least I proved that one vote really does count because I was the only one who voted.

Hey, I just checked and my one vote was not counted. This voting booth is not working, I demand a recount, but no paper trail to use.

I going to write Jessie about this.

[/quote]When you asked if MOST voters reviewed his webpage, that means 50% plus 1 registered voter. None of the answers provide for the scenario, of "nobody" viewing the website.
Anyway, I voted "Not Sure". Thats actually the only honest vote anyone can make. I have no way of knowing, how many voters actually get on the web, let alone go to one particular website.

Oh oh, I checked again and see that a number of votes were made, that is great.

It seems the no votes got about 66 percent and the yes votes got something in the area of 25 percent. Not sure votes about 11 percent.

(the vote was for opinions)

Basically the poll does not prove anything at all but was just testing the waters to see if canadate webpages are popular.
