Tucker Carlson is bringing up that "#1 and #4 liberal in the senate" on Crossfire again. Who votes on this? Who compiles these stats? It just strikes me as the most arbitrary statement uttered throughout this campaign and it comes out of every Repubs mouth; yet they never credit any surveyors or polltakers for providing these statistics.

Probably this story: http://www.talonnews.com/news/2004/march/0...y_liberal.shtml

"Arms in the hands of the citizens may be used at individual discretion for the defense of the country, the overthrow of tyranny or private self-defense." -- John Adams

Edwards was #4 this year....but over the past 4 he's been right in the middle when averaged.....Kerry has always been one of the most Liberal....He's Left of Teddy K.....and that REALLY Scares the shit out of Conservatives....because Judges may retire/die and we don't want pro Homo Judge's appointed.....as well as many other issues, most people know Bush is Horrible....but they're really scared of not just Kerry but the baggage that comes with him.

Stats - nearly 99 percent of people who die from heart attacks, cancer, or AIDs, watch TV. Proof that that TV is bad for you?

Hannity referenced it again tonight. The more these guys harp on this
the more they sound like the political equivalent of fantasy football
geeks.

Government seems to extrapolate some of the weirdest things from "polls". Technosouls example was amazingly accurate. And then they get the spin doctors in on it to create some of the most mind blowing arguments ever! An hour of watching CNN with "White House Officials" on it makes my head spin! I then research what they said and 98% of the time its untrue! Im not claiming its just Bush, its BOTH parties.
