Perhaps you misread the study and interpreted it to mean that Teenage girls WILL NOT still get pregnant. You would be mistaken.
In a superliteral sense you are correct in that many teenage girls still get pregnant regardless of education, but that number is vastly reduced by education. The studies are clear.

I think it goes without saying the any suggestion to invade Canada is mind-numbingly stupid.

In a superliteral sense, they are not even certain that education reduces the number at all, let alone vastly.

Why are there still "accidents" then? I get my own reason for my "accidental" progeny. Are the females' the same? The first time for her, she lacks the education value of experience in what it means to bear a child. The movies are over so quick.

BBC NEWS | Americas | Palin's teenage daughter pregnant

What hypocrites, if she were poor what would her 17 year old daughter do?
Don't care, not any more than Bill's BJs, or most other non-issues that are gossip-based. Hypocrite? Pols? Hello? News?

Now, given your quote under your name, I do care when a Gay masks his nature and votes with those eager to oppress Gays. I liken that to those prisoners who willingly and knowingly helped the Nazis with the process that led to the ovens.

Isn't it funny how the liberal media is pushing this story that's only slightly a step above tabloid fodder? What's next, CNN reporting that John McCain is an extraterrestrial?

And how about CNN spreading the insipid rumor that Palin's youngest child with Down's Syndrome is actually her daughter's?

Wouldn't they be better serving our time by giving us 24 hour coverage of Bradgelina's twins?

If you feel oppressed because you cant get a license to marry your boyfriend, I suspect your feelings have nothing to do with the governments failure to issue you a license.

Yes, if I hear one more Right Wing automaton praise a well off governor's daughter for the "guts" to have this baby, I may puke. It isn't about guts, it's about resources. And if a tried and true hardcore conservative family can't raise a child to actually practice what they preach, why do they insist that the rest of the thinking world go along with what plainly is not just a matter of "teaching children what is best". Hell, maybe if her mom had taken her to the doctor and gotten her birth control, she wouldn't "have" to get married. But, what she "has" to do, really, is give birth so that her mom can maintain her bona fides. But, I suppose, marriage for the 17 year old is about her Mom's reputation as well. Gotta prove to the world her daughter was raised to only sleep with the person she is going to spend the rest of her life with, right?
So by your standard, anyone that exists in poverty should have an abortion and you are upset the well off governor's daughter has the option of having her baby. Are you also suggesting that we shouldn't bother teaching our children what is best, and just let society clean up the mess. Maybe her mom should have had her neutered. Your bias has blinded you of the realities of life and you obviously have no children.

The decision for a daughter in a well off household is easier than for the struggling young woman with no one to help her.

I don't see hypocrisy from palin, at least here, given that it's another person's actions we are talking about. Now if palin slept around and got pregnant, there'd be a different issue,

I've got sympathy for Bristol Palin.

I'm not sure how old she is, but I found a visual that sort of makes some kind of point. As harsh as the image may seem in a pitched political maneuvering, I think the movie Juno suggests some ways to normalcy, ...

That is too funny!

I loved Juno (the movie) too.

In my effort to say hello, and nod on the Juno movie, I somehow found my old login.

So, it's ...Kate. A little easier to say, after all.

Except I've been married to the same woman for over thirty years: never been divorced, my first marriage and never "Gay." You haven't the faintest idea what you were typing about and seem to have some kind of problem with your reading skills. If you pay more attention I was referring to whom posted this thread who mentions his gayness in a quote below his name,

The news agency put it into those terms, probably for fear of offending the right with data you people know has to be untrue because otherwise they'd have to show cartoon penises to young people. Gaah! The scientists don't feel so ambiguous. Read the articles.

Because we're trying to override a billion years of evolution and the best we can hope for is, as I just explained, reducing teen pregnancy and not eliminating it.

Teen pregnancy is natural. So why the stigma? How old was Jesus' mother?

I did read. Like I said, they are not even certain it reduces pregnancies at all. The statistics cant even disprove the hypothesis that education has no effect. The statistics arent there. Sooooo why dont you show us these studies that do show that teen pregnancies are "vastly reduced by education." You claim "The studies are clear", lets see some of these "clear" studies you refer to.

No you clearly did not. You'd have found the much better criticism of one of the articles if you had, never mind being able to pull out the sources for both of them and look things up. Tfox...I'm going to go to bed and just ignore you indefinitely because you're not living up to minimum standards I consider necessary before trying to argue with somebody. There were flaws in my argument that I put there on purpose and no one even found them! Do you realize what this test means? It means that when people are confronted with something that they disagree with they really do shut it out immediately before even preforming a basic flaw sweep. Not everybody...I built another flawed argument test recently and someone passed with flying colors...but you've failed.
