You forgot one:

I all but handed a golden pass to the democrats, and they still managed to prove how absolutely ineffectual they really are.

Hasn't he also set a record for the lowest presidential approval rating? Has he become less popular than Nixon yet?

I though Jimmy Carter held that record at a 24% approval rating?

He handed the house, senate, Presidency and eventually the Supreme Court the Democrats in 2009

And was one of the most liberal democratic like Republicans when it came to fiscal policy.

As planned. The pendulum does not swing alone. Many leaders have sacrificed their personal reputations in the effort to maintain 'status-quo' throughout history. G.W. did not act alone. He's a fool, more akin to Heyoka or "trickster". That is, he stumbles before you, purposefully.
Watch America lunge for the bait! It's actually hilarious to me.
The people are played like marionettes. Knee-jerk reactions are first learned through our elders, and promulgated through the derisive use of propaganda and indoctrination. There is no conspiracy, it is so obvious. We as a people are dumbed down and stripped of the illusory 'rights' we thought we were 'given'.
A right is inherent, and not granted.
You can vote for anyone, yet the ultimate trajectory is foreseen.

As long as you focus on the idiocy of a single man in power, the real power players can jump to action, concealed by this psychological smokescreen.
In the biggest picture, they do not matter one bit.

G.W. and his 'democratic' friends get the last laugh, if we let 'em.

Kind of makes me feel like a lazy underacheiver. I just baked a cake for the first time in my life last week, and after reading this GWB list, maybe I need to set some higher goals.

I'd like to thank Charlie Hodge, bringing me scarves and water.

In my estimation, it does not matter what is happening, as much as where we are heading, philosophically and ethically.
I must believe, for whatever reason, all will eventually correct, or adjust according to natural processes and the ingrained tendency toward reductionism and simplicity.
I find the effort to puppeteer as mind-numbing as the innocent willingness to be a puppet. I also realize we are all in it together, and subjects to our own perpetuation of memes and beliefs.
Let the warrior war. I will do as I do, nonetheless, regardless of who's in charge, I define my leaders and heroes, as we all do. That's as American as it gets for me.

This is why I'm amazed that people would entertain voting in this government again. How bad do you have to fvck things up before you tear yourself away from party loyalties?

Particularly if elections are just a facade for the clandestine entities that designate puppets to power.

It's actually quite unbelievable the level of power that partisan devotion has on some people's psyches.

I'm constantly amazed by it. I'm what's referred to as swinging voter over here. I see it more as voting for the good of my country rather than the good of my party. In Australia with compulsory voting, elections are decided by the swinging voters. Rusted on party hacks barely get attention from their party, just a few sweeteners via pork barrelling because they know they've already got the vote. The last PM was brilliant at it.

The defense of that people make for the indefensible on behalf of their parties and the outright lies sometimes just astounds me. How is that good for democracy just barracking blindly for your team? Its not the footy! If the sun always shines out of your parties @rse, how can they ever be held to account?

Someone needs to begin a real campaign of education and awareness to promote third party or independant voting. I really believe a lot of people would like the message some of these parties/candidates are presenting, but the problem is, no one hears them. The media is completely in the pockets of the bi-partisan conspiracy, they completely ignore third parties. All we hear from the sheep is that third party candidates "don't have a chance" and that you are "throwing away your vote"... Partisans even go so far as to accuse people of "stealing votes" from dems/repubs if they dare vote for someone other than the two golden boys.

The bi-partisan scam is a well groomed play out of the fascist manual. Make people think they have a choice, really they don't, not in any significant way. The democrats and republicans are vastly similar, they are both quite authoritarian and right wing, and yet there is a popular conception that they represent polarized left and right positions. You have all these people fighting and argueing about those "damn democrats" and the "crazy republicans" and it paints the picture of a healthy democracy.

But meanwhile, if you never were told whether the administration was dem or republican, you'd have no way of knowing. They all seem to be equally inept, incompetent and corrupt, they all seem to be promoting a larger government, more spending, more war, more laws, less freedom. Not just the united states, but all large developed countries from Britain to Australia to Canada to France are slowly moving toward Authoritarianism.

Look at Obama, the democrat's "messiah"... He had all this preachy crap about ending war and reuniting humanity and we would all be singing songs and holding hands under a rainbow. And yet after he clinches the nomination, we see his public views slowly being shifted. Just slowly enough to acclimatize the voters to the "new obama" before the election but not quickly enough for them to realize that they have been duped once again by a lying, pandering politician who will turn out exactly like Bush, only more photogenic.

Look out kid, they keep it all hid.

True. Few seem to know about, say, The Natural Law Party. And Democrats are so good at shaming "liberals" into never voting a different way. And, like Republicans, these are people who lie and cover up for each other.

That has occured under Bush, Clinton, Bush1, Reagan etc. And the President cant spend a dime nor alter the tax code. Only Congress has that authority.

President Clinton announced Wednesday that the federal budget surplus for fiscal year 2000 amounted to at least $230 billion, making it the largest in U.S. history and topping last year's record surplus of $122.7 billion...
In June, the administration predicted the surplus would be $211 billion, and would increase by as much as $1 trillion over the next 10 years.
President Clinton announces another record budget surplus - September 27, 2000

A prediction that obviously didn't account for Boy George's presidency.

Clinton was still President in 2000, and the claim was that Bush "spent the US surplus". A BUDGET surplus is not the same thing as a surplus. You can spend a surplus, you cannot spend a budget surplus. A budget is a politicized guess as to what we will spend in the future and what we will collect in the future. And thats not even addressing the fact that they are not counting the money they borrow from the Social Security Trust fund.
