| Uncomfortable Mind Posts: 379 | CNN doesn't mention Obama not on Michigan Balot I've been watching CNN quite a bit the last few days, perhaps in procrastination, but something keeps coming up that really bothers me. Every time the issue of the whether or not the democratic Michigan and Florida delegates should be seated, arises on CNN, nobody mentions the fact that Obama was not on the ballot in Michigan. This creates the false impression to the public, that Hillary Clinton actually has the popular vote if Michigan and Florida are included, when in fact the Michigan ballot did not even include Obama. CNN should include this in it's broadcasts. This is an important part of the discourse, because if Michigan's delegates are going to be seated, there needs to be a revote, to fairly account for Obama supporters. Otherwise, suggesting that merely counting Michigan and Florida, would more accurately represent the population's desire, is false. But many people who do not have the Obama Michigan Ballot information, will still subscribe to this notion. I've contact CNN asking them to include the Michigan Ballot information, but given probably the thousands of e-mails they receive, I'm not sure they'll listen to me. I hope more people complain about this so they start mentioning this fact. |

Right now if they seat the deligates they would need to split them down the middle, which is the same thing as not counting votes submitted by the public. And it would be unfair to Obama and even Clinton would agree to that and that is why she was fighting for a new primary vote in that state, Obama rejected that idea because without that state he has a better chance of winning the nomination so why risk a change in deligate numbers? What I want to know is if John Edwards was on their ballet because he has now endorced Obama and if he was on that ballet his deligates could be given to Obama as a representation of public opinon and Hillary would be able to keep her deligates that she won, and they could use those numbers to determine who gets what. |

YouTube - Who's That Hiding In My Fox 5 News Logo? The tradition of impartial journalism has died in America. If I want to find out what's happening in the U.S. sometimes I have no choice but to go to the BBC website's Americas section because our media is often so preoocupied with altering my vote and the dumb celebrity of the month that they bump off a lot of the actual news. Destroying America one Volconvo post at a time. Religious controversies are always productive of more acrimony and irreconcilable hatreds than those which spring from any other cause. |
