I don't see him as a true libertarian. Actually I see him as a little controlling. The saving face aspect for me is he is a supporter of the fair tax and takes a very miltant approach to the illegal immigration aka similar to Ron Paul(might be enough to win my vote.).Bob Barr 2008 › Issues Bob Barr 2008 › Issues (1) War on Drugs - Strong supporter (2) Medical Marijuana - Strongly against it. Bob Barr - Medical Marijuana ProCon.org (3) Gay Marriage - Against it. (4) Voted for Patriot Act, but now states he is against it (convenient). http://judiciary.senate.gov/testimon...12&wit_id=2874 (5) Against Freedom of Religion for Military Personal - in this case Wicca. Reason Magazine - Bob Barr, Civil Libertarian |

| Knower of Nothing Posts: 1,772 | A candidate running under a false flag. Nothing new, the so called "conservatives" do it all the time. This guy is nothing more then a neo-con, and certainly not a libertarian. He's an economic libertarian but a social conservative. Which, (used to) make you a republican, not a libertarian. Anyone who says medical marijuana should be banned because it is "witchcraft" is obviously an out of touch and tired old man with no place in the running of contemporary america. What a piece of work is man! How noble in reason! The paragon of animals! And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me; no, nor woman neither.. |

Isn't this the same guy who was convinced Hillary had something to do with Vince Foster's death, and tested his theories by shooting "head-like objects' -- melons -- in his back yard? . I don't suffer from insanity... I thoroughly enjoy it |

He will not attarct a single progressive or liberal vote, but get some of those Limbaugh idiots who vote hoping that one day, they will be the ones reaping the profits from raping the enviroment and allowing wage depression to fuel every metric of economic "growth". Eh, there really no such thing as a "vote stealer". That's just a lame, albeit convenient cop out for people who can't get their own morally bankrupt candidates elected.

But that is interesting, comming from the constituency that can't find anyone to contend who agrees with both the economic and philosopical aspects of their agenda. Funny, more accurately. I suppose "lack of appeal" translates into "morally rich" in that side's lexicon. Well here is a libertarian. Are you going to use the No True Scot fallacy to try and wiggle out of this one? The mind forgets but the heart always remembers -Anon

Will you attempt to argue that we get a fair shake in media presentation? Short of being ridiculed by each, and every pundit, you know we're game for a fair fight any time. Too bad you guys own the media, eh? ![]()

Well, now I'm only advocating Ron Paul. I wasn't privvy to the fact that the Libertarian candidate would be wearing a Republican label, while the Republican candidate would be wearing a Libertarian pin. Who knew? There is no wiggling here. I'm not scared to disown those who think outside of reality. No guilt by association either. Ron Paul 08

It doesn't seem possible to be a libertarian with these positions. I don't think I even have to look at the links. This guy has even less chance to win that Ron Paul. I'd like to thank Charlie Hodge, bringing me scarves and water. |

Here's the link that shows ALL of the current candidates (listed in order of money raised): Official Website of the Libertarian National Committee Oh, and by the way lsbskins1, Rush supporters are voting for Hillary.
