The issues - taxes and rebates.

In France they love to protest things, but they never protest taxes. It is more or less a socialist country.

Not counting sales taxes and only federal income taxes - what do you get back for all the taxes paid in, personally for your self or family?

In France they pay 10 percent for basic taxes to run the government and then they pay extra taxes for services provided by the government, such as health care and education for the kids. A total of about 40 percent in taxes for their yearly income. But they get free health care with any doctor they want. They can send their kid to collage for free. Etc.

We pay about 40 percent in federal taxes of our income but must pay extra for private health care and to fund the kid in collage (in the USA).

Now do the math. If you add what it costs for family health care and for putting the kids thu collage to your regular income tax then that total is way larger then what they pay in taxes over in France.

Because their taxes save them hugh amounts of money that does not have to come out of their family budget to support the profit driven health care and educational systems. They get something back for paying taxes and what do we get... ? A cheap skate government that will not even take care of pot holes in the streets properly.

A government that buys poor quality steal from China that is not inspected to build our bridges and our wall on the Mexican boarder instead of the government using our high quality steal made in the USA by our own people.

If you pay out $12.000 a year for health care that is like paying an extra $12.000 in taxes to get the same service you can get in France for free and at a much lower rate relative to the tax being charged for it.

1.
Get rid of lobbyists
2.
Set the limit for lawsuits
3.
Set the policies for health-insurance business companies, and monitor them
(In case health-insurance business companies refuse to comply, the U.S. governing body should take over the mainstream, and enroll its own health-insurance coverage for all, causing health-insurance business companies either to re-think and comply or go for vacation - lifetime term.)

The People is the most important element within a state, and Not any business, since the People is the major engine those businesses to function at all.
HealthCare and Education are the crucial necessities a governing body Must provide the People with.

I would agree with that.

The downer points to the Democratic Health care is that it is not socialistic, it would be controlled by insurance companies that are profit driven and so the cost could still creep upwards for us. Affordable might become more expensive as time passes.

But that is the only way to get enough Republicans to agree to health care reform, is not to make it too much like socialism.

I would dare say it may have something to do with half the budget going to Defence...

And two Bush terms later Bin Laden is still kicking back nice and safe like making tapes to brainwash poeple with. (almost two terms).

It is like the Bush people are avoiding the capture of Bin Laden just so they can continue that Bush crusade and other conflicts blamed on terrorism.

A big waste of taxpayer money for nothing at all. Just a bunch of military big shots and Washington bimbos sinking in quicksand while talking about how well they can fly.

The oil production in Iraq has earned millions and millions of dollars but Congress is being told that no one knows what happened to most of the money, which was never spent on reconstruction. It is a big scandle.

Well, our companies get most of the money and we still are paying high big bucks for each bucket our own companies sell us.

Western companies may get 75% of Iraqi oil profits - MarketWatch

This is a total outrage and why is Congress only now getting around to knowing anything about the big rip off? We taxpayers fund a war and the oil men get the oil and all that profit. So woopie, we get a gas holiday after the raise the price at the pump to $7.00 a gal.

A billion sum dollar war and we get to save 30 bucks on our holiday gas expendatures.

Then Dick and Bush can retire from office and get jobs with Halliburton and bask in all the money like Uncle Scrooge.

Where is our investigation? How can we just sit idle and allow the Bush White House pick our pockets to fund a private venture? While also putting us into debt with China to help pay for more surges.

Once the deal is finalized in a few days then we will have American people working in Iraq and it would be one of our American "interests" which the next President is sort of responsible for protecting. More fighting and conflicts.

We should be screaming bloody murder but instead we are only interested in Rev Wright. Telling Wright to shut up when he is about the only person to say "I told you so".

Remember a while ago?

Quote:
"...the attempt to banish Mr. bin
Laden from TV, is simple enough: what we don't know won't hurt us. At his
press conference, Mr. Bush gave a progress report on the war to date - and
found solid advances on every single front, without a single setback, not
even a minor one, of any kind. Asked if the American people had to make any
sacrifices for the war effort, the only one he could come up with was longer
lines at the airport."

Personally, I think L. Ron Hubbard was more in touch with reality than Bush.
