| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | Bill Clinton as the "first lady". If Hillary Clinton became the first female President how would fomer President Bill Clinton act as a first lady ( house-husband )? I just am having trouble trying to imagine how that would work out, whould he nag? Would his ego get in the way of taking a back seat? Would children in all those chuches across America get confused about the traditional roles of a biblically prefect marrage? Any insights you want to make? |

Since the correlate term to "lady" is "gentleman" it strikes me, though, that a "first" here has its own subtle humor when applied to Bill. "First Gentleman." Can Bill even act as a gentleman? I guess they could address each other as Mr and Mrs President. People still call Carter "President". But I can just see (in my crystal ball) all the poltical cartoon artists and the stand-up "late night" jokers having a field day with that potential situation. Other countries have women in charge of the government. But this is a little different then what they got going on. On the other hand I saw Obama's wife in an interview and she really fits the bill as a perfect first lady. In the McCain family his wife is like his welfare broker, loaning him her company jet to fly around in. (after he voted that canidates cannot use jets supplied by companies to run an election). His own wife is one big "special interest group" person. Hmm? Now the so-called dream ticket would be my personal choice. If HIllary was the VP then that would unite the Democratic Party for a landslide victory over McCain, and Bill would not be the "first lady". And Obama's wife would be a delite to have around as the first lady, she as as good as the one Bush had. I always thought Mrs Bush was a great first lady. What if Hillary got a call at three in the morning and Bill answered the phone? Therefore I now am moved my position to one of supporting Obama IF Hillary can be the Vice President. She would make me feel more comfortable because she could show Obama around Washington and how the use all those "ropes" needed to get things done. Her experience backing his visionary abilities would be a solid ticket. For all I know Obama could pick Jessie Jackson as the VP. That is still an unknown about factor and an important one if we as Democrats with to win over the Republicans. | |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | and so, being this is may day and Indiana will starz the next winner in this back and froth race to see who gets to be the Underdog superhero, it is important time for poltical pundants to put together their best spin on how things are shapeing up. That is why I wanted to make all this perfectly clear. We are only a little over 4 years away from 2012 which the Mayan calendar has earmarked as the end of our all-white all-male domination of world wide events. The end of chapter one and the opening of chapter two and the unfolding of a 1000 year era of relative peace. The ending of fundamentalism and the quickening of diversity celebration with cross border and cross asile hand shaking. Shake a hand if you can. Yes, you all are standing here at this great moment in history that wise men have waited for through the generations. Sure, things seem troubling right now, even painful for some, a lot of screaming going on. But hey, that is what brithing is all about. So take a deep breath and push as we bring into this world a new promised world of milk and honey. This is it. The new time zone, the dream manifested as the destiny of the faithful brides of the prophets of peace. Jot that down in your little notebook. This is bigger then mere religion, bigger then mere poltics, bigger the mere nationalities, and more important then the discoveries of science. This is the " big It". Time has come today. You will not hear about this on CNN, you will not find links to prove this. Only here on Volconvo have I given this peak preview for prime time airing in the media of enlightenment. In other words, vote Democratic. |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | He always looks happy. Anyway, Hillary does not seem to have any dresses in her wardrobe for him to try on. It is a bit queer to run around the country to become the first lady president without wearing dresses during that tour. But whatever! But you see, the stand up comics will have a field day with this. That was my first point. Did you see that photo on Time magizene? The news people do not know just how to handle all this because they are so used to dealing with the standard white male President clutching to his guns or his religious standard of morality. This make over has confused them. Now who would want to call a fomer President "first gentleman"? That would sound as nutty as a fruit cake, like "hey, did you get demoted or something"? And he is hardly the poster boy of a "House-husband". Now if Obama was President and Hillary was a VP.... problem solved. We get everything instead of what only half of what the Democrats want. PS - Bill is not Gay just happy. Anyway being gay is not always very lady like. He might like cigars but he is not like Bush who gets nursed by a Halliburton big Dick. (name of Vice President... so don't let your mind get you into the gutter). Ha. Shop talk for stand up comics. Oops, I almost forgot that I am supporting unity with diversity. Shake a hand if you can. (but not in a public restroom because you might get arrested). |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | I know, he got smoke in his eyes when that intern flashed her boobies, but now that the smoke has cleared old glory still stands, yes, the ship did not sink and so now we can sing Hillary the beautiful America. Or something like that. Never could remember the words of the song but it is taboo to sing it off key. They should hire me as a speech writer, I gotta gift and a way with words that might be usefull, and I could use a few extra bucks due to the rise in gasoline prices. Four dollars and 15 cents per gal at big name gas pumps here in California. They just annonced on CNN that the cost will go up to $7.00 per gal. We put in our order for a hybred Nissan with Japan. Can hardly wait to get it, but they said that I might have to settle for white color because the ones with green paint are hard to get. My wife worked here in the USA for 20 years with that company and so it is not like I support "overseas" companies - they gave her a job and created jobs here for us. |
