Discrimination In America.

Should black people speak out about discrimination and stereotype white people because of America's history? Is discrimination still a major concern to be overcome in Amreica? Would electing Obama prove that discrimination no longer exsists in America? Is discrimination no longer a political topic for canidates to hash over in debates, or is that a poltically incorrect topic for eleciton debates?

Just before he was shot to death Martin King Jr was preparing his next speech called " Why America is going to hell" And we have a national holiday in honor of this man, and yet when Rev Wright uses such terminology we all get up-set. Why is that?

We now must confront this in the next election, are you ready for that?

Give you opinon now.

Actually, I think black people should shut the hell up already. Discrimination won't end because a black man was elected. Did some puppet on TV say that Techno?

I'd like to thank Charlie Hodge, bringing me scarves and water.

I think we're still quite far from being discrimination-free, even if Obama gets elected. Racism hasn't even really legally disappeared since the 70's and I doubt it would fade from people that fast. I personally think racism is alive and kicking - especially when we think of Asians as perpetual foreigners.

Racism is alive and well but the idea that only white people can be racist because we more than likely had white ancestors who may or may not have been racist is INHERENTLY racist.

I don't really give two sh*ts about Reverend Wright but the guy needs to shut up already.

What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?

Not to mention Mexican farm workers and the stereotyping of Arabs with those radical groups, and gays are at the top of the list for discrimination by some relgious people. The Afirican Americans however are the ones who do the most to bring this into public attention.
And who demand a change. As sad as it might seem the chickens might come to roost and then white people will be the targets of discrimination. Re: payback time.

Women have been dealing with this for ages and should know as much as minority races concerning this topic.

America is the melting pot of all the races and life styles, we have no alternative but to learn to co-exsist if we are to survive as an idenity of diversity. The Consitution and Bill of Rights makes it all an important political project.

And yet some would like for African Americans to be denied their right to free speech, their right to rap about things they believe is wrong around here. What's up with that? How can we lock up the American spirit of protest behind bars and "out of sight - out of mind". Why not dump it all out on the table, and confront what must be confronted?
