Are you buying as much food now as you did 8 years ago?

Have you reduced the amount of food you buy now because the cost of everything is going up? Can you still afford to stock your house with as much food as you used to do 8 years ago?

Why or why not?

The reduction in the amount of food purchased was due to the reduction in the amount of people in my household, not because of the increase in costs. I don't go out to eat as often for the same reason. Dining out was for convenience and socializing.

Same here, no mom, roommate or dog to feed now. Just me and the kittahs. I'm buying less of pretty much everything.

I'm buying a lot more, I have a ferocious appetite and since I gave up smoking and drinking some time ago, its freed up about $150 a week that I can put onto grocery's.

This poll is a flop. 25 hits and only 3 people voted for an option, and two of those had a reduction in family size.

No votes from average people with the same amount of family members who did not come into extra wealth in some way.

Aww Techno,

Don't forget, there are a lot of teens here. Maybe they could poll their parents?
