    Terrorists and leaders

A friend of mine said something today that i found interesting. He pointed out that the attacks on the world trade centers and the attacks in london appeared to be right after a new leader was elected. They suggested that there will likely be a major attack on the U.S. soon after the 2008 election. I haven't seen much info on terrorists activity, but if they are following this pattern, what should we do?

Anyway, the debate topic is over two things:
    1. Do you think terrorists will attack us soon after the 2008 election.
    and
    2. If so, what should we do to prevent it?

Knowledge is power, use it well.

Don't fear the unknown, seek to understand it

That seems like nothing more than coincidence 0.o.

I don't know how you'd prevent it even if you tried.. it seems rather impossible short of investigating everybody.

Possibly not. Terrorists don't care who is office - they want their demands met and will contact the new president with them. As soon as the new president says no, they might attack.

!! Going to my destruction !!

Perhaps you shjould investigate what sets the terrorists off. ( Hint. U.S. foreign policy. )

    1) Truly hard to say if they will attempt anything around election time.

    2) What can you do to prevent it? ( I'd seriously consider radically altering our foreign policy. )

Yes another 9/11 incident probably in America, to justify even more security measures and loss of freedom.

    2. If so, what should we do to prevent it?
Nothing, it , so they can increase the security so to help bring in the NWO.

That's a long term solution (if it can be called a solution, it's tough to tell what actions will lead to terrorists) I would think the policy makers of the 80's would have never dreamed that the killers the CIA and the spec. forces were training and arming would turn their guns on america after they had resisted the soviets. In hindsight, we can see the writing on the wall, but at the time it seemed like a way to make friends
