| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | Photography and politics. I just saw an ad showing Obama with a nice smile and he looked normal and next to that a photo of Hillary with a goofy look and her yes popped wide open in surprise. and the question "who would you vote for". I see that all over, one canidate captured by the camera with a negative look next to photo of the other canidate looking "good". That is dirty politics. |

But having said that, the practice of taking bad photo shots of candidates is common practice. In newspapers here I can always tell whether an editorial on a politician is going to be a favourable one or not just by merely glancing at the photo that accompanies it. |

Regardless of medium, most smere techniques are as credible as audio recordings of bigfoot. When such tactics are coupled with poll numbers, the results can be both damaging and entertaining. As anyone knows, polls can always be flawed or biased. Not all of it is pure statistical reasoning based on sound mathematics (not to say that's a deeply reasonable way to analyze where politicians stand). Grandpa h. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you (unless it costs something). | |
