McCain Running away!

NJ, CT, DL, IL wins so far! And he has a nice lead in a lot of states like MT, OK, TN and AL. And foresure wins in NY and AZ. He is also neck and neck with Huckabee in MO and GA. With Huckabee only winning WV and AR (home state). And sadly Romney only winning his home state of MA and not competing so far in many of the states. If McCain wins CA, Romney is out and so is Huckabee. Well at least Ron Paul will be there to compete with McCain!

He's surging towards the nomination and it will make an interesting election, McCain against either Hillary or Obama. McCain's immigration reform proposal ought to earn him dividends with the Hispanics and shows his leadership and ability to get over the partisanship and work the legislature.

Hillary and Obama are about tied in delegates. Apparently half the Democrats want one and the rest the other. Hopefully the ones whose favourite is not nominated will resent the Democratic establishment for endorsing the other and some may vote for McCain who likely will attract some independents too, plus the ageing demographic which may still find inconceivable a woman or black option for president, and certainly wouldn't find McCain too old.

In this way the Democrats may actually lose the election.

I will vote Democratic anyway. However, I enjoy seeing Rush Limbaugh and alike going berserk. Mr. Huckabee is also left behind, such a jerk.

You theory about one half of democratic voters would go against the other is not going to be true. They like both candidates and will certainly vote for either of them. McCain is a lot better, then his opponents in the GOP and this is a good sign, that Americans are in a Dmeocratic mood now. I enjoy seeing Rush Limbaugh going berserk.

He'll have to atone for His own sins first.

Although I never listen to the nutjob, I enjoy reading the articles that Rush is all over the hate McCain train.

Most exit polling analysis suggests the Democratic differences are less reconciliable than the Republican ones. Apparently anyone less than 29 who is a Democrat will vote for Obama and not for Hillary, who will they vote for when the choice is Hillary or McCain? I guess these folks can be dismissed since there aren't many.

Rush is going nuts because he hates McCain for being so immigrant-friendly, McCain is seen as a moderate conservative and this makes him ideologically similar to Hillary. If Hillary wins the Democratic nomination it could be good for McCain, though I think it would be easier for him to prevail over Obama. This is because the demographic profile favours McCain, many more voters are closer in age and experience to McCain than they are to Obama.

Hillary thinks so too:
Quote:
Addressing a crowd at the University of Maine, Clinton called the Arizona senator a friend, but said a McCain presidency would be tantamount to a third Bush administration.

He'd also be a formidable political adversary, she said.

"If our nominee is running against someone with the legendary background of John McCain - Democrats need to think about this," Clinton said. "Because we're picking a nominee we expect to win. We cannot take four more years of more of the same." My Way News - Clinton Says She Can Beat McCain
Or is she just trying to get Obama out of the way?
