| Redskins Rule Location: South-Western Virginia Posts: 2,456 | No bites from the conservatives out there explaining how this long lasting "healthy" economy has managed to somehow by-pass the majority? No true believers willing to explain how the numbers are being "cooked" by liberals? Nobody out there to crunch some actual numbers to show me how I have miscrunched or fail to grasp simple economics? Donald Trump and Warren Buffet seem to be the only ones who know what to do, so I listen to them. I'd like to thank Charlie Hodge, bringing me scarves and water. She was asking for worshippers of Saint Milton Friedman to come forward and explain how it is they still adore his holiness when his entire theoretical edifice is shown time and again (by the numbers) to be built on bullshit. When we came out of the 1970 recession, the most obvious thing to most of us, was sky rocketing housing cost. Homeless was greatly increased as low paid workers with families to support, could not keep up with the cost of housing. Tjhe cost housing is so out of sight, many, many people live with no hope of ever owing their homes, knowing they will forever be exploited by employers and property managers. My community has made a gallent attempt to correct the housing problem. Expeically Saint Vincient de Paul, a Catholic organization, should get a gold metal for providing so much decent housing for the poor, but the need can not be met with charity. We need real economic studies that give us a real picture of reality. We had this before Reagan's administration replaced research on poverty with research on welfare fraud. During the Reagan administration there was a huge shift of wealth and power, and we need an economically honest writer to tell us the truth. |
