Ron Paul and the Federal Income Tax

so ive seen a lot here debating Ron Paul ..... and i decided to do some looking and learning for myself ..... something i learned baffles me and maybe some of you can clear it up for me

i found he wants to do away with Federal Income Tax

now i know he plans to do away with several Federal programs .. but just how does he plan to pay for the rest of them ?

does he plan to have all military service filled by non-paid volunteers ?

how will he fund Social Security ?

what about Medicaid and Medicare ?

what about WIC ?

what about Food Stamps ?

there are other programs to be concerned about ... but that list should do for now

now im sure some of you may claim some of the programs i listed are just poor people trying to get over on the system .... well in many cases you would be wrong ,, and if you cant see that we can debate it if you like

this was my greatest concern so far about Ron Paul and his agendas .... maybe if you supporters clear up this issue he will have more supporters ... though i doubt it

When I look at you, I doubt I could eat the amount I wanna vomit

Stock Libertarian Answer #1: It's unconstitutional.

Reality: Ron Paul really doesn't have a good answer for what could effectively replace the income tax. But he'll be sure to tell you that you're better off in control of your money than the government. Essentially, 1+1=the sky is blue. The answer to the equation might be an accurate statement but it has nothing to do with the equation in question.

What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?

I think the answer would lie in libertarians would view all those federal aid systems as unneeded. Their view is people are responsible for their own lives and if you need help then to bad for you its your own fault.

In their little world people are more than proud to own firearms too, and willingly join together to defend their independent states from aggression.

Well, this depends upon the "libertarian" in question. Yes, many feel large parts of the state bureaucracy are unneeded, but few (if any) in the American Libertarian Party wish to get rid of the state in its entirety.
