Free Market Industry?

I am not sure, but I suspect some people think my talk of the Military/Industrial Complex is just a conspiracy fantansy, that some people engage in for a psychological reasons. The weapons industry is not a fantasy and it is not a free market controlled by supply and demand. It is tied to the government and supported by tax payers if we need to spend this money of not. It is supply side economics, creating a demand and using fear to do so, causing national paranoia and preparedness for wars like Iraq, where a surplus of million bombs were dumbed. I wonder what the following will do to the popularity of Clinton, who lied when she pretended she didn't know much when she voted in favor of bombing Iraq. Her husband used the CIA to instigate a revolt against Sadam. She knew what the war was about. Do you think the Military-Industrial complex is just a silly conspiracy idea?

AlterNet: Weapons Industry Dumps Republicans, Backs Hillary

The U.S. arms industry is backing Hillary Clinton for President and has all but abandoned its traditional allies in the Republican party. Mrs Clinton has also emerged as Wall Street's favourite. Investment bankers have opened their wallets in unprecedented numbers for the New York senator over the past three months and, in the process, dumped their earlier favourite, Barack Obama.

Mrs. Clinton's wooing of the defence industry is all the more remarkable given the frosty relations between Bill Clinton and the military during his presidency. An analysis of campaign contributions shows senior defence industry employees are pouring money into her war chest in the belief that their generosity will be repaid many times over with future defence contracts.

I'm just curious...not that I trust Hillary in the slightest, but do you have some sort of proof of her "lie" regarding her vote on the Iraq war?
