If we were a Democracy, one vote would count. If we were a Democracy.. one vote would matter. But, since we all live in a Republic.. we do not get to vote - at once - to choose a candidate for next November. It is a farce.

And then the next load of crap.. despite our high level of technology, the.. "voting" is an iffy proposition. Votes get "lost" - some aren't even counted. Machine malfunction.. Yet, every hour of every day of the year.. banks conduct electronic transactions that total into the billions over the year. Would not it seem logical that the United States of America could have (years ago) developed as simple.. fast & trouble free a system..? After all, the total number of votes is nothing compared to what any major bank tallies up daily. And, they will give you a printed record of the transaction.

I suppose that might tend to keep the polling too honest. Still.. they always fall back to the Electoral count anyway.. so, no "Democracy" there either. Besides.. if all else fails.. they will still not use our votes. No.. the "Su- preeem" court slithers into chambers and.. by a 5-4 vote.. (there's that one vote!!) and.. walla' !! We have a brand new Prez..

Of course, a "President" is like an train driver.. an engineer... and basically, just goes slow or fast.. stops or reverses course. The true course or track we are on.. is laid out by those that "installed" the presidee ..over the train. This last one is still presiding over a vast train wreck. One more year of..

So.. the question is: What is the point of voting..?? What does it really mean to you..??
