Anti-zionism is typically a cover for not-so-covert hatred of Jews.

It's typically why quote unquote Anti-zionists are also Holocaust deniers. The logic of the movement falls flat in that they reveal their bias by this move. Why must the legal / moral existence of Israel pressupose that one of the greatest attrocities committed in modern time be exaggerated or in the most extreme, a hoax? It shouldn't matter. However, the underlying theme is purely hatred of a group of people given rationalization and justification by a title.

So while not all "anti-zionists" are anti-semetic, a lot of them are. In fact, I'd go as far as to wager the majority.

I think it is safe to say history proves Jews are a vulnerable minority pretty much in any society they live in.

I would have to say any Jews who don't want their own state are either crazy or stupid. If you aren't a Jew, and you don't want there to be a Jewish state, yes, I would say you are anti-Semitic - because you obviously don't care about their welfare.

Vulnerable minority "my ass"!!!!! Jews are 3% of the American population and make up 50% of all millionaires. That doesn't sound like a persecuted group to me. If anyone is vulnerable it is the rest of us.
I am amazed at all the bitching and complaining about prejudice and antisemitism. The ingratitude and arrogance makes me sick; and I am glad the world is finally beginning to realize how much control this "vulnerable" group of "unfortunate" complainers has on the media, the government, and the world.

If I was a Jew I don't think I would support Zionism either, as it groups all the people that are predjudiced against together. Is the way to survive to group together in one place or to scatter throughout the world, as there are ways people make life difficult for the Jews, so the best thing to do is to make people think you are not Jewish seeing as how there are no logical grounds for this way of thinking, it will never stop, right? If I was predjudiced against for being what I was, I would not group together in one country where people can effect the buying and selling of the nation with deals that they don't feel comfotable wih, punishing the whole state instead of just one person who could easily avoid identification. The Jews need to hide to avoid this predjudice, and that is what I would do, leading a double life so to speak. This predjudice is learned from your parents, school friends and general fables, so it wil never die off. Funny thinking, a groundless predjudice that will never die, and the best way to deal with it is to 'run away from it', if you ask me.

I'd hardly consider myself a Zionist, but I for one can't think of anyone MORE deserving of the land. I don't really think the US should be doing anything to empower Muslim states. Hell, I'd rather the US took over Israel than anything else. Israeli state policies MUST change, certainly, but I wouldn't look to their east for any role models.

And I don't think there is anything wrong with hard working people getting prosperous. There is nothing I admire more than a free market economy that offers opportunity to all. There is something wrong, however, when any particular racial or ethnic group corners and monopolizes a market to the exclusion of others, based on race and creed.
