not interested, he is a little "out there" for me. The radio station here banned him and won't even say his name on the air.

Funny, he is the only one addressing the problems I see you citing in all the other threads.
Each to his own.
I don't see how learning about someone is a bad thing, nor do I see how too many choices is a bad thing.

I do agree, however, I have heard him do interviews with the local talk radio stations, and I don't find him to be a quality candidate to run this country. Not that I agree or disagree with everything he has to say, he's just not the right person for me. Is he really addressing all the problems or is he just talking?

Ron Paul is telling people more truth than a great deal of them are willing to accept.
Get past the shock value, and investigate the points you take issue with for yourself.
The major media has little to say about most of these issues, so for the vast majority of Americans, these issues are off the radar screen, and beyond the realm of intelligent discussion.
It's up to each individual to decide for themselves.

I picked up on that as well, but I didn't want to get that deep into the discussion tonight.
Let me guess, aClear Channel station doesn't wan't to recognize Pauls candidacy?
That act alone should indicate that it's the message the money doesn't like, and not the person. Evidence of conspiracy.
Eww Clear Channel radio FTL.......... All I hear about them is bad things. I had a friend who was a radio dj and had worked for many different organizations who were all eventually bought out by clear channel and turned into christian rock channels or latino music... Not that I don't like latino music ever now and again, but they say via the demographics of the areas, those stations needed to be changed as far as the genre is concerned. I lose a halfway decent all rock station in my town a couple years ago. I just thank god I still have my Z104.5 The Edge to listen to as they can never be bought.

Addiction is only the failure of one's will power.

I was a radio dj in training at one of those clear channel radio stations. I ended up hating radio so much, I can't stand to listen to it any more. Yeah, that means silent car rides. What agravates me most as a listener, is every channel takes commercial breaks at the same time. screw em.

Heh, I'm right there with you, right down the the silent rides in the car.
The funny thing is, I just answered some questions for a survey, and the lady asking the questions refused to believe that I had turned the radio on for the last time. She just couldn't come to grips with a person who was willing to boycott what they did not like.
In the end, I had to tell her the reason I could not listen was that I have no remore control for the radio, and without the ability to mute the commercials, I'm not tuning in.
Oh, and television is following suit with the synchronized commercials. Soon it will be time to boycott these criminals as well.
