![]() BANNED Location: Ohio Province, Rep. of Comerica Posts: 7,320 | Greenspans Admission Did anybody else out there see Alan Greesnspan on Book TV over the last weekend? ( No link, I honestly can't figure out how to link to C-SPANs website. ) In a candid interview about his latest book Turbulence, he actually went on record as to being a Libertarian, with a capital "L". I point this out because I saw this discussed here before, and I believe this validates the fact that he does still believe the concepts put forth in his 1966 321gold: Gold and Economic Freedom by Alan Greenspan 1966 So all the years he worked as the Fed Chairman, he was knowingly devaluing your dollar, and your holdings, and Americas overall credit rating. around the globe. He's a criminal just like the people that appointed him. ![]() |

(also, i believe there's more to what greenspan says than what you posted - but i admit, i haven't seen the interview.) |

I wouldn't say it addresses everything, or has any answers in particular, but I found it interesting. I posted a link to his 1966 article declaring the truth. He then went on to become Fed Chairman, supporting my claim that he did it knowingly. | |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 8,663 | I noticed that he seemed to always favor the policies of the President in power, his advice or review of the enconomy woud seem to "fit" the objectives of the White House, both when Democrats and when Republicans were in charge. Everyone knows that the dollar should be based on gold (or silver perhaps) because such materials always are of value. But the reality is that we do not have enough gold anymore to do that, if the whole population is to have money in their pockets. They took silver out of coins (reduced it) and so forth, because we ran out of it. And we could not get more if we wanted too, I guess. Much of it is used for rings and other items sold in stores. What is inside Fort Knocks ( however it is spelled). Top Secret, right? Why? But we continue because captialism is important to us, even if it's foundation is an illusion. |
