Why the Democrats can't get anything done...

Maybe it’s because the likes of Morgan Stanley, Yahoo, and Rupert Murdoch are contributing money to the Democrats, now. Do you suppose that would be a good incentive for the Dems NOT to get their act together?

That and the war is a wonderful political tool that scares people away from republicans, when we all know niether of them is going to find the balls to do anything.

The dems don't want to do anything, and if they don't have to, they won't. As a matter of fact, they'd rather it all goes to hell right before the election because it will lose the republicans votes. Their congressional "win" last election was hardly a mandate either.

This whole concept of a "mandate of the people" that Bush rode to war is invalid without the votes to back it up. ( Coerced votes after the fact, or declaration as it were don't count Dieval, and Vicchio. )

I predict if Hillary is elected that she will follow Bushs lead, and ride the "mandate of the people" premise all the way to universal Health Care.

Remember this prediction.

I'm sure. Obama would probably do the same. Neither of them have my vote.
