    Money as Debt

Paul Grignon's 47-minute animated presentation of "Money as Debt" tells in very simple and effective graphic terms what money is and how it ... all » is being created. It is an entertaining way to get the message out. The Cowichan Citizens Coalition and its "Duncan Initiative" received high praise from those who previewed it. I recommend it as a painless but hard-hitting educational tool and encourage the widest distribution and use by all groups concerned with the present unsustainable monetary system in Canada and the United States.

Nobody has any comments on this short video?

It sure does explain a lot about the mess we're in.

Why should the government borrow money at interest when it can print it for free at the Mint?

Mostly you are just preaching to the choir as far as the "concerned citizens". The Republicans, and Democrats won't comment accept to label you a Conspracy Theorists, and lump you in with the rest of us here that agree with your take on reality.

I'm sure this topic has been brought up many time in the past, but the video link does give the lay person a way of understanding this matter in a straight forward format in under an hour .

The point of this post is really to get people that would lump me or you in to the Conspracy Theorists (nut job) group something to watch and think about.

I would really like to hear the opinions of Republicans and Democrats if only to debate the claims in the video.

The conspiracy thing is a pain in the neck, because people are either accepting there is conspiracy, or denying it, but not coming to grips with reality. The reality is mass production requires mass resources and mass markets, and this means a New World Order and national defense becomes defending economic interest around the world. The people of the US pay for this in two ways, taxes and inflation. Labeling this fact of life a conspiracy instead of coming to grips with the reality is, stupid and annoying.

I speak controversy so we have something to talk about. Don't take me too seriously.

What part of the video was conspiracy?

The fact is most if not all things are done by conspiracy of groups, this video is just showing you the nuts and bolts of the system and it's life blood money.

    Yeam right...

I think you have been snorting GW's cocaine off the back of the tiolet. That, or you're mainlining propaganda again.

How does mass production, and mass markets equal a New World Order?

Where the Hell do you come up with this crap?

You do realize what happens to the "value" of money when it is minted. The govt introduces money to the people by buying back the bonds that citizens (although many foreigners own these to) have purchased. When material money is introduced to the system the value of it goes down. When it is not being introduced to the system, the value of money changes based on the economy and interest rates on loans which are changed by the treasury.

I think you are very offensive and I don't care to communicate with you any further.

The problem is when I explain why all the conspiracy theories about the federal reserve, etc, are bullshit, I will simply be told I am "part of the conspiracy" and will be discredited on that questionable basis. I have given up. Conspiracy theorists are all but impossible to debate.

It sure does explain a lot about the mess we're in.
    The mess of what?

Why should the government borrow money at interest when it can print it for free at the Mint?
Take a few basic economics courses and get back to me on this one.

Tivodan- Forget the opinions/theories people make about this subject. It would be interesting to hear from you about this topic. Being in presumably your last year of law school with a focus in con law you should have had vested exposure to our economic theory in regard to the federal reserve.

I thought the video did what one such as this would- gave some bias. However, for the most part it was a fairly descriptive portrayal, if not too simplistic. That is, I found it more educational than propagandist.

That's pretty funny. Reality states there is no conspiracy, conspiracy theorists say "that's just part of the conspiracy". Conspiracy theories are fun but they eventually collapse on their own weight.
