The thing I don't get is their hessitation to this.... If I was a manipulative, back stabbing Republican I would take the debate, because they're not random questions.... CNN pre-screens the questions they want to have on the debate, and how much do any of you want to bet that the democrate canidates had a chance to geta quick viewing of the questions that would be coming their way?

I agree.... it's not the best thing for a debate, it's not as open minded as many would like to believe, it is still filtered questions by those we don't have control over, so these canidates arn't just thrown to the wolves......

As mentioned before, it does help make a connection to the new generations of us who are fed up of not being able to do much in regards to prodding with our own questions.

Quite honestly, CNN filters the questions and pretty much issues the same questions that they would most likely ask in the previous debates, only they're using regular Joe faces and people to send the same messages just to make it look like you have more say.

I never logged onto U Tube but it might be possible to see all the questions there before CNN gets picky. Of course they get about a thousand submitted questions and CNN can only air 50 if the canadates keep answers down to 60 min. responses. (fat chance of that?).

A lot of questions were ones designed by the Republican canadates and they told thier supporters what to ask. CNN of course found out what those questions were and did not permit them to be aired.

If someone could look at all the u tube video questions asked they could do an interesting article about why CNN selected the ones they did, I mean the questions are all documented. It might make for an interesting study into "media manipulation" of poltical debates (if such is the case?).

Would make a good paper for a collage student write up for class and I hope someone does just that.

Perhaps CNN could advance this new trend with a Q & A debate from members of IMCO 3D - hey, give them the old third degree.

But wait a moment, why not a CNN / Volconvo debate... I'm ready are you? Get the monitors busy on that okay. In order to sound modern we can call it the TechoTube debate.... .
