A solution for pakistan's al-qaida dillema

Pakistan President and Military Chief Musharraf has explicitly stated that the U.S. military is not welcome in his country to fight the insurgents there... However, his troops have failed to signifcantly expell the terrorists and have taken many losses.. He has also lost his "authority" to govern the "tribal areas"... President Bush has said that he hasn't ruled out military action in Pakistan even though Musharraf still says that it won't happen... since, musharraf doesnt really control the tribal areas we shouldnt need his permission!

What difference does that make anyway? Our King doesn't need permission from anyone to do whatever He wants. We've got a democratic controlled congress that is more interested in passing non-binding resolutions, and a supreme court that has stood aside and let bush shred the Constitution, so what's the big deal about needing "permission" from some two-bit tyrant of a third world shithole country?

USA troops are stretched and tied in Iraq. If Bush would focus on Afghanistan from start, he could now run a massive operation in Pakistan and eliminate terrorist nest. Musharaff is a dubious quality friend. He can easily loose power and entire Pakistan would become a big Alquaeda-Taliban state with nuclear weapons in hands. We would be still fighting "to the end" in Iraq. Our commander in chief has very littel brain power.

The "terrorist nest" no doubt includes an innocent population, so they'd end up fighting fire with gasoline, as the saying goes.
