A committee graded the dissertation, shrike, not just Pappe. And if you had read the article carefully you would know that only parts of the dissertation are controversial (ie "faked") and even then the author disputes the charges.

In any case, your attempt to pin this dissertation on Pappe to further your own interests on this thread is itself a fake argument. The author bears complete responsibility for the contents of his/her work. Academic committees don't have the time to check every fact and every source.

The UN said Israel could take most of the land it currently possesses, I have heard it said that a great deal of the land that the Jews possess in Israel was purchased by them, but I have also heard accusations of the Jews stealing some land which they now possess from its original owners as well...

The West Bank settlements are certainly illegal, but I am not sure that the rest of Israel is.

Do you think that the death toll among young Palestinians might have anything at all to do with them being told to strap bombs around themselves and walk up to checkpoints or into crowded buses, markets, weddings, etc.?

My son is a Jewish convert. He has an honored position in his synagogue. We disagree about some matters in politics, but he is faithful to god in his religious tradition as I am in mine. We should avoid disinformation about Jews acceptance of outsiders.

But it might be tough to be a Jewish convert and oppose Zionism. You would likely be shunned.
