| Playful Location: Groningen, the Netherlands Posts: 805 | WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department says its report that the number of international "terrorist" attacks fell last year was wrong and in fact had risen sharply. CNN: http://edition.cnn.com/2004/US/06/10/powel....terror.report/ Google: http://news.google.com/news?num=30&hl=en&e...c0c31090%2ehtml But, kuddo's for having the courage to say they were wrong. I would have waited till after the election. |

Mabey this is the same thing, just reversed. Bush's own people could be trying to wreck him. Clean toe caps and a filthy mouth! Low morals and high morale! |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 3,713 | "Powell denied any duplicity was behind the mistakes. "There's nothing political about it," Powell said. "It's a data collection and reporting error." "The report marks the second time in a month that Powell disavowed information initially presented as accurate." http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/06/13/powell.re...port/index.html Powell should have resigned and distanced himself from this corrupt regime long ago. He came out of the military with a great reputation, but that's gone now. He simply has no credibility left. This administration used him up, and he got nothing in return. Why did he go along with them? "Everybody knows that the boat is leaking Everybody knows that the captain lied." - Leonard Cohen |

Scientifically, you need to examine other factors. Which areas did terrorism occur? What defines terrorism? Are the areas of terrorism that increased directly related to the war on terror? Who are the countries participating in the war against terror? Have terror attacks increased against participants due to the war, or other external factors which may have affected it? You need to conduct an examination into: 1) The statistical evidence of terrorism 2) Classify the statistics according various groups (eg. topographic, cultural, etc) 3) Examine the actual policies and actions (cause and effect relationship between WOT and T) Too many errors... Ideological loyalty is the act of giving your soul to a vague concept, to be manipulated by people smarter than you. |
