Amnesty International published a Report dealing with Israel and the Occupied Territories. It is a very comprehensive report and is a must read for anyone who wants to see the crimes committed against the Palestinians

But what is it with killing these hundreds of children and pregnant women that is so tempting to Israel, as targets? Maybe I’m naive, but can anyone explain this other than being ‘deliberate’ war crimes? How can anybody defend Israel with all of these facts? Oh, wait… wait… of course Amnesty is an anti-Semetic organization, that’s why!

Some 650 Palestinians, half of them unarmed civilians and including some 120 children, were killed by Israeli forces. This toll was a threefold increase compared with 2005. On 27 June the Israeli army launched operation "Summer Rains" following an attack two days earlier by members of Palestinian armed groups on a military post inside Israel in which two Israeli soldiers were killed and a third - Corporal Gilad Shalit - was captured. Israeli attacks escalated dramatically after the capture of Gilad Shalit, although the preceding months had also been marked by killings of Palestinians and Israeli air and artillery bombardments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

I do not understand these silly arguments presented to shrike from jose and PatrickHenry.

You guys do know that the Arabs were promised an Arab state by Britian. You guys do know Arabs wanted to form a unified nation and Britian screwed all that up. Arabs are not compromising with the Jews, therefore, deaths will occur. It just so happens that the Jews are backed up with power and money, so they have the means to kill those who attack them faster and more efficient then their enemy.


Shrike, there will be a war forever and ever unless Israel totally takes out the middle east or the Arabs take out Israel. It is a waste of your time to argue that Israel should stay where they are. You and I know that the Arabs are more entitled to have a independent Arab state moreso, then Jews to have land smack in the middle to interrupt that process.

It is quite simple, the Arabs will not stop until you give them back the land they need to form an Arab state.

Not everybody favored Pan-Arabism like you claim. And you can see it by yourself there is a 22 Arab countries there were not united because of Israel.

You partly right. But there is chance to peace if Arabs like in Egypt case (after 3 wars) will understand that they could not beat us military .Of course our leftist destroyed this Iron wall by compromising with arabs and retreating from Gaza strip. But i hope when the government will change the Iron wall we be once again.

And when a living people yields in matters of such a vital character it is only when there is no longer any hope of getting rid of us, because they can make no breach in the iron wall.
