So besides all the talk on the issues and what the U.S. presidential candidates stand for, it all boils down to votes. So here, with just a click of a button, choose the candidate who you will vote for or would vote for if you could.

Sorry I couldn't list more options, but the poll options are limited. I just chose the candidates from both parties that seemed to have the highest ratings in polls. I'm also listing them alphabetically so hopefully you don't detect a bias.

We can do a more general discussion of the U.S. election here as well.

Since this forum has a wider variety of views than your poll, don't be surprised to see "other/none" get elected.

I think I selected "write-in" option for this poll, so if you have another option then I think you can write it in. I'm not sure how that feature works though.

i'd vote for ron paul... the only candidate out there that can be trusted when he says he'll pull us out of iraq, balance the budget, secure our borders and defend our rights.
