"Biased" doesn't necessarily mean wrong.

Grandpa h.
Biased automatically means wrong because it is not objectively factual.

That doesn't sound like the "transparent government" I'm asked to vote for at campaign time, and it sure as Hell doesn't sound like the government I learned about in school.

Just what kind of government are you supporting?
The (s)elected one :-)

Not so. Bias is simply an interpretation of facts, and is not necessarily wrong.Bias tends to point us in a direction, but that direction is not necessarily the wrong one. A lack of objectivity however makes it less likely to be correct though.

In reality very little is 'objectively factual' and certainly no source is.

Society may be formed so as to exist without crime, without poverty, […] no obstacle whatsoever intervenes at this moment except ignorance to prevent such a state of society.

Exactly. For example, I think the Holocaust was very morally wrong, which demonstrates a bias. Conscious gives people a bias.

But it's always funny to hear people like Chancellor complain about bias, when they wear it on their sleeve like virtually anyone else.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you (unless it costs
something).

There's nothing wrong with you or I having our biases but biases don't make something fact.

No, bias is an a priori assumption brought to the table when interpreting facts.

Bias shows the direction from which we make our approach.

Well, I might agree that almost no source is objectively factual I don't agree that "very little is 'objectively factual'." There is objective fact and then there's our own respective interpretations of the objective fact.
