Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route? |

| Skeptical Patriot Posts: 7,746 | I always thought it was just that, that JEB should have been president instead of his brother that made George senior break down and blubber like an old drunk a couple of months ago. Even if Jeb did a great job in Florida, his brother has poisoned the waters for him. Not to mention the Dynasty factor. Forget him. But it's a bad move on his part, Jeb's like the Barry Bonds of election stealing, second only to Katherine Harris, who he hired. I do find it hard to believe that Jeb's political career could be finished. What's next? Senate? Cabinet post in the new Republican administration, if that happens? "What truth endures beneath the flaming stream?" -- A Volcano, Bartolome de Las Casas, Inferno de Marsaya, 1536 | |

| moderat-e/o-r Location: boston Posts: 11,184 | romney certainly seems to have some big money behind him... he's already raised $23 million. Romney Tops Republicans in Fundraising - Forbes.com the only person to have raised more is hillary with $26 million - and she has a former popular president raising money for her behind the scenes... sad state of affairs that raising money even matters in the eyes of voters. |

| moderat-e/o-r Location: boston Posts: 11,184 | agreed... overall, he did a good job for the state - but i was also a bit turned off by his actions towards the end of his term.. it was like having michael moore going to europe and bashing the u.s... romney went to crowds of bigots and trashed his own home. that's the primary reason why i wouldn't support him - aside from his connections to the establishment. |

The campaign ads beat everyone over the heads for a reason. The idiot sheep REQUIRE hypnosis and repetition. There are still a sickeningly large number of people in this country who wouldn't even know or care who is running, but instead prefer to go into the booth and look for the cute little pictures of the donkey or the elephant. It was so bad at one time, in Delaware they ended up removing the big, straight ticket levers from the old-style mechanical voting machines. | moderat-e/o-r Location: boston Posts: 11,184 | i am. ![]() i'm not 100% behind paul on some of the finer details, but compared to the group of corrupt establishment candidates, i'd vote for him with confidence... thinking ahead, though, i know he won't win the primaries because republicans believe in big government and imperialism.. they also believe in illegal immigration, since none of the people they've elected have done anything to stop the phenomenon.. so, after the primaries, i don't know if there will be anyone around worth voting for. |
