If your purely looking at the parties, then yes the two are similar. But if your looking strictly at liberals and strictly at conservatives, the gap is pretty damned big.

What they are all ignoring is that we have literaly millions of people without insurace who cannot pay for basic health care. This would be unthinkable in any other industrialized society. The US allows guns on its streets, and has an enormous homocide rate and we have an idiot for a president. Its no wonder why no one in the world respects the US. you mean hannity. you know, from that show HANNITY (and colmes. sometimes.) the one where they pit a die-hard right winger against a liberal?

it's funny, because hannity chose exactly which liberal he wanted to face. and that colmes is a self professed "moderate". and the only "liberal" who works for fox news.

you really ought to watch the station sometime and stop with the smear propaganda... if you actually watched you would know that greta von susteren, neil gabler, jane hall, eric burns, mara liasson, juan williams, mort kondrake etal appear regularly... (yes, those are some of the "liberals" with daily or weekly show spots)... plus tons of liberal guests are on whenever political issues are debated from both sides...

The same reasons conservatives are scary - they have a deadlock on the parties - Liberals wouldnt be scary if we had a lot of other views but they are scary because you have two extremes in office and no one really in between, THAT in short is whats scary about BOTH liberals and conservatives, in my humble opinion.'
Of course being a Liberetarian, you can take that however you like.
