| Igneous Magma Location: New York City Posts: 739 | So, Israel bombed a suspected 'terrorist training camp' deep within Syria. This is a violation of Syria's sovereignty and its borders, and as such is an act of war. Bush, the day after, condoned the bombing, equating it to "pre-emptive defense" in America's new-found logic that any military action taken by our allies is either in "defense" or "pre-emptive defense;" ie: offense. After all, one need only look in the glaring precedent that Bush has made in Iraq to know that it's alright to bomb foreign nations who don't directly threaten you. So, Israel took this blank check given by America to mean that Bush will absolve it of all worries from uproars within its biggest threats to empire-building: Neighboring Arab states and the international eye in the form of the UN. Subsequently, the IDF has 'locked down' the Gaza Strip and the West Bank with an additional two tank regiments, knowing that anybody who questions has to go through Bush first. So, what was that about a peace plan? . . . whenever any government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute a new government, laying its foundations on such principles and organizing its powers in such forms as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. |

| Hot Lava Posts: 1,859 | peace comes when you have no enemies... so Israel acted against Syria... Israel acts against terrorists on an almost daily basis and has since her creation... did Israel follow our lead in Afghanistan and Iraq? or did we follow Israel's lead? either way, the US and Israel are fed up with terrorists and are now willing to do something besides bitch and moan in some un meeting... the plan for peace is there... kill those who would kill you and you'll have peace... "I really like this jacket, but the sleeves are much too long..." insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results... |

| Hot Lava Location: Spokane, WA Posts: 782 | A) You will always have enemies B) Israel soldiers have been ordered to execute innocent Palestinian civilians. If I was Palestinians I would be completely pissed off at the Israelis because of the quarintines and daily raids and the murder of my children. C) If you kill those who kill you than more people will join the others cause. Killing is never the route to peace. D) Not all Palestinians are terrorists. Most of them would like a peaceful life, and a Palestinian state. If my kids are being shot, and I haven't eaten in a week you might be a bit angry. E) The US is fed up with paying for their oil, and need to kill a couple more thousand people to prove that we're the US so don't fuck with us. Or don't disagree with us, or don't make us pay for oil. F) According to you then if we blew up the Earth then we wouldn've peace. Shalom |

| Hot Lava Posts: 1,859 | that's life... kill or be killed, survival of the "fittest"... I didn't make the rules, I am simply commenting on human nature... blindly trusting your enemies is foolish... just look at clinton and north korea... the revolution never ends, everyone wants more and fights to get it... always... fight so everyone has more... still it is more and still it is a fight... peace when the planet is dead? yeah, that's about right... | Hot Lava Posts: 1,859 | G. cynical? yeah... so? change what? change myself? lol... why? 8. change the world? I control only my own actions and have no wish to control the actions of others... in fact I understand that I cannot control the actions of others... how do you deter others from doing as they wish against you? by making it detrimental for them to do so... peace through superior firepower... AK. sea of fire? yeah, it will be soon... we had a cold war with the soviets because they were afraid of dying... terrorists aren't... | Igneous Magma Location: Sydney,Australia. Posts: 333 | Ive said this before, and I'll say it again, there is no such thing as true peace in the world, if you have peace in your country its probably because some poor bastards somewhere else are paying for it with little thanks. Eternal vigilance is quoted as the price of peace, as true peace would'nt need guarding. If you want to go and embrace the terrorists in some silly hope a tear will appear in their eye and they will suddenly choke up, then you have probably smoked way too much dope, which is named with a lot of accuracy. Sure go make peace with the terrorists, but only do it on your own behalf please, and don't count on them embracing you back. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Here very innocent. Seriously, guilty of what? Being swept away by hatred of the kind youŽd happily sweep them away with. Capital punishment for everybody that ever carried a gun. Including all, each & everyone, using a gun to facilitate capital punishment. Way to go, angel. Difficult to fall any deeper. |
