Bingo- Israel is not asking for Muslim Arabs to become Jews, nor are they accepting Muslim Arabs as equal citizens of Israel called Israelis, are they? Israel is not a democracy, because it is for Jews. This is the subject of the thread, what happens when people think in terms of "us" and "them".

arabs and muslims are citizesn in israel actually. they are even in parliment and the cabinenet.

Please, explain why for all these years if a Jew wasn't religious he was excommunicated from the Jewish community, but today a non believer can still call himself a Jew? How did this dramatic change occur? Why would someone want to be a Jew who doesn't believing in God's convenant with Jews and only Jews?

there is no "pope" in judiasm, you can't be excommunciated. if you reneoucen your beliefs your family may punsih you or what not, but thats not universal

About the animals, you started the comparison of animal and human conflicts, and were making the illogical statements. I am glad you came around to there is a big difference between animals and humans. Invading humans who don't leave, must always defend themselves against the indiginous people. Look at how many countries Britian conquered and then had to leave. European Jews in the mid east are in the wrong place for European Jews and will therefore have to remain on the defensive, just as Brits had to remain on the defensive or leave. rarely are militiarly superior invaders forced to leave by the idigonoues populaitons. israel can destroy the arab armies, and has done so repeatedly. Britian was not "forced out" of its empire, it just decdied it didnt want it anymore.
