If Bush looses in Irag do the terrorists win?

I am not speaking about insurgents or conflicts between groups of people who have lived in Iraq for a long time.

But only about outside terrorist groups that honor the holy war originated by Bin Laden.

In his state of the union address Bush said that if we do not reach his objectives in Irag that this would encourge more people to join anti-American terrorist groups because they know they can win the fight.

Right or wrong.

Why would he be right about that after being wrong about everything else concerning Iraq?

Who knows how others will react to the actions of our nation. They may decide we're wimps and try to attack us in concert. They may respect our wisdom and intentions if we pull out and our stature may increase as a nation. Who knows?

Bush just uses what passes for fear tactics these days ("everything that I don't agree with encourages the terrorists") to try and get his way, without supporting his contentions or showing any compassion for those he continues to put in harm's way in reaching his undefined agenda.

All the guys we should've been fighting, died on 9/11.

I'd like to thank Charlie Hodge, bringing me scarves and water.

Terrorists will never 'win'. Those who deliberately slaughter innocent people have sold their souls to the Devil. Retribution will come as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow.

In response to the original question.....

It's a no win situation.

If we win, we make more enemies.
If we lose, we make more enemies.
If we break even, we make more enemies.

Regardless of what happens now, we have made more enemies thanks to the defective logic, and retribution G.W. sought against Iraqs passed leader Saddam Hussein.

WWIII has been started, and lines are forming around the world behind ideological, religious, pro-government and anti-government stances, in all nations due to this.

Fragmentalism will be the trend from 2007 to 2012, worldwide, in my opinion.
