British believe Bush is more dangerous than Kim Jong-il
Quote:
America is now seen as a threat to world peace by its closest neighbours and allies, according to an international survey of public opinion published today that reveals just how far the country's reputation has fallen among former supporters since the invasion of Iraq.

Carried out as US voters prepare to go to the polls next week in an election dominated by the war, the research also shows that British voters see George Bush as a greater danger to world peace than either the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-il, or the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Both countries were once cited by the US president as part of an "axis of evil", but it is Mr Bush who now alarms voters in countries with traditionally strong links to the US.

The finding is mirrored in America's immediate northern and southern neighbours, Canada and Mexico, with 62% of Canadians and 57% of Mexicans saying the world has become more dangerous because of US policy.
Well at least he beat Bin Laden.

Of course Bush is more dangerous. He's the one with all the power, the huge force behind him. He may not be mentally as volatile as Jong, but he's the one with the firepower (political and literal) and thus is WAY more dangerous.

And we need to stop using these figureheads to explain our fears.

Bush is not more dangerous, the executive branch of the USA government is the dangerous thing. Stop thinking of it as one man, Bush is just a figure-head. His adminstration as a whole are evil, rumsfeld, cheney, all those bastards work as a team to further their greedy plans.

Q2- What about the impact on democracy in the developing world? In that time would you say that American foreign policy has….

Where they find that 51% of the people feel that the democracy has not changed (neither improved nor worsened) by the American foreign Policy

The funniest thing is Bin Laden hardly qualifies as a world leader.

Describing growing rebellions in Afghanistan, Noam Chomsky noted: "People have the odd characteristic of objecting to the slaughter of family members and friends."

Since Bill Clinton, there has not been a lot of competition. Time has answered Bush Wars: Who was right?.

Hugo Chavez, the back bone of the Andes, is the best about, IMO.
