This is probably the most inflamatory piece of journalism I have seen since Bill Moyers told us of the LILO Leasing scandle. Read up, and be ready to get mad as Hell. ( I think you can watch the program from this link as well. ) Moyers on America . Capitol Crimes | PBS Quote:

You are right, its an excellent piece of journalism. He pulls no punches. Except there wasnt a report on the sex trades in the Marriannas. Did that get mentioned in the last half that I didnt see yet? |

It's PBS. I guess they figure their target demopgraphic is a little more sophisticated. I'd wager they're wrong, but they are good about repeating the program in the middlie of the night. I taped the late night showing after watching it because it was such a hard hitting piece that can be used a reference material. He also raised my interest in those authors he was referencing. Norman Ornstein, and his book Heist, and Thomas Frank's Whats the Matter With Kansas. Quote:
Indeed, a wonderful attempt to connect the dots, and expose the crooks. What would we do without PBS? Quote:
No, but one could infer from the conditions that the environment was ripe for that sort of thing. | |||
