Would you be willing to give up some of your freedoms to be safer from attacks by terrorists? (freedom of speech, press, assembly, your privacy...)

Never. I'm not made any safer by giving up what millions upon millions have died to ensure I have. It makes me very much less safe in the face of scum who run governments, and would make me a terrible coward to boot.

The fact of the matter is that loss of freedoms does not equate to increased safety. Period.

Considering the likelyhood of me or my family dying in a terrorist attack is statistically zero anyway, why would I?

Here's an idea... Let's work on the ways we can prevent maybe the top 2 or 3 killers of Americans, and when we're done with those, we can work on number 3452309874980726 on the list or whatever "terrorist attack" is.
