I know, but I'm doing what I can to call attention to all that I see. Unlike many of our well known local Conspiracy Theorists here on the board, I have been at it considerably longer. I'm actually winning people over to my side at this point. All it takes is one grind up against the machine before the problems seem "self evident" to them. ![]() Quote:
Hahaha, sometimes I wonder which philosophy preceeded the other. ( Did they bring partisan politics from the House floor to the nightly forum, or did Crossfire, and the like, set the stage for the completely over the top rhetoric we are seeing now. ) All I know is that rational thought got lost in there somewhere, and nobody even seems to be looking for it.

Here is Condie denying key elements in "State of Denial" only to be caught in the lie. Records Show Tenet Briefed Rice on Al Qaeda Threat Quote:

For the record, I don't see Crossfire, or the other pundit hangouts as appealing to the rational either. If it were truly rational, there would always be more than two choices, but I'm preaching to the choir here, I know. I'm going to take the Senators advice, and contest the licensing of the broadcasters in this area as they come up for renewal.

but sometimes, you have to deal with the choices that are available.. here in MA, i have to choose from some corrupt, anti-white democrat, a republican, a green-party socialist and another republican who decided to run as an independent... Massachusetts gubernatorial election, 2006 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia given the choices, i'm going to vote for the republican whose views and voting record are the most agreeable to my own. and, she seems to remind me of christie whitman, former NJ governor, who i very much supported.

You're never going to truly find someone who matches your view exactly. What you have to do is vote for the person who most closely matches your preferences. Some people think that because you disagree on an issue with your representative that this type of system is flawed. Unfortunately, this is exactly how it's supposed to work.

Even Dubya didn't do too much damage when he was governor, at least by comparison to his later career. Rick "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross." Sinclair Lewis

![]() Aristotle Location: Chicago, IL Posts: 4,356 | I TiVo'ed 60 minutes and finally got around to watch. This was shocking an eye opening. I thought thinks weren't going to well; however, I didn't think they were that bad. Although he is is promoting his book and trying to make a buck, he seemed highly creditable. This just strenghtens my view that Bush is the worst President ever! |
